NFF Plan Ghana Friendly for Falcons.
Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Alhassan Yakmut has revealed that after Mali refused to honor the 2016 Olympic qualifier yesterday, the NSC and the NFF will be meeting to iron out issues concerning the latest development, as they have slated a friendly match with Ghana to help the falcons prepare for the World Cup.
He further revealed that due to lack of time, the Super Falcons will have to play several local teams to help fill the void before travelling to Canada, for the World Cup.
”Its unfortunate Mali will not honor the match again, and I spoke about this development with the General Secretary and when the board meets on Tuesday, they can ratify series of friendlies before the team proceeds to Canada.
”A friendly against Ghana has been proposed and some local teams will also be lined up for subsequent games.”
“Meanwhile two players have been shortlisted from the Falcons for International awards, so that gives you an idea of the quality we have” the DG told www.footballlive.ng.

Ghana not good enough for falcons at the moment considering the fact that the female world cup is fast approaching and we've got a very strong opposition in our group. They need grade a friendly matches if they are to do well in the competition
