pls I need honest advice, and no insult pls. I am currently in a relationship with a girl I love so much and are both ripe for marriage. But the prob is her dad called me not quite long on how our preps are for our marriage cos she and her family wants us to marry this year, but the prob is I want to have a good paying job first b4 marriage cos I have responsibilties I have to carry in my family. I am a salary earner and earns less than 25k in a month. I don't know how to tell the father that am not ready for marriage now so it won't seem as if I wanna run away. Pls I need advice pls.

No two ways about it apart from letting her dad know you're not financially buoyant and ready for marriage at the moment. A man has to get married when he's ready, not when he's expected to or when someone else want him to.

Tell him the truth.
Sir, If I have the funds, I will marry your daughter today. I cant financialy take care of her 100% .

But OP, does this mean the girl is marryable, whenable?

op if you are emotionally, spirituality mature to marry her please just explain to her dad that you would love to marry her but you are not financially buoyant to take care of the marriage expenses
the man would understand if he does not

Bro Do not rush to marriage if you aint prepare, wedding is just a day party, marriage is life time.
