I need to change the bible but I don't know what to do with it if I buy a new one and that has stopped me from buying a new one. pls I want to know what if its a sin to throw away old bible or better still burn it if you acquire a new one. if ur bible was well read, underlined and referenced.. u would or might need it once in a while..

If the Bible is really old to the point of being unuseable, you can consider any of the following options:

* Lock it away in a safe place as an heirloom.

* Bury it

* Burn it

* Throw it away [I do not recommend throwing it away in a garbage, although any method you respectfully apply is neither right nor wrong, but a matter of personal conviction].

It is also important to know that it's not the paper or its binding that is holy, but the Word and Faith in It.
