THOU FATHER, MY DELIVERER! (WORDFARE) | Psalms 27: 1 (NLT)

“The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid?

Critically, looking at the 27th Chapter of the book of Psalms, the 1st verse; this expression “The Lord..., my SALVATION” is going to be our 'FOCUS' for the next couple of days.

The Hebrew Word translated ‘Salvation’ in Psalms 27: 1 is “yesha‛ yêsha‛” (yeh'-shah, yay'-shah). This speaks of Liberty, Deliverance, Prosperity: - Safety, Salvation, Saving.

In most places in the New Testament, the Greek word translated ‘Salvation’ is “sōtēria” (so-tay-ree'-ah); which implies - Rescue or Safety: - Deliver, Health, Salvation, Save, Saving.

Take for instance, Romans 10: 10 (NKJV) | "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation – “sōtēria” (Greek).

Critically, examining both the Hebrew and the Greek words translated “Salvation”, we see alot of similarity in them.

Distinct?

Furthermore, one after the other, we will take our time to see into each of these Words used in place of salvation, representing the personality of our GOD.

However, today on: Thou FATHER, My DELIVERER!

Back to Psalms 27: 1 – The Lord, my Salvation – Deliverer!

Psalms 34: 4 (NKJV) | “I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears”

Why won’t God deliver David? This guy, David, constantly and concurrently affirming God as his DELIVERER. Take your time to read all the lyrics of his written songs from the book of Psalms – both the one written IN CONFUSION and OUT of CONFUSION – He always affirmed and reaffirmed what God really is to him.

Dearly beloved, who is your professed God? Your deliverer! In that situation, at all time, call His name – My God, My Father, and my Deliverer.

Does it seems you are lost into the hands of some Blood-Thirsty Kidnappers or Rapists or locked up in a Cage? It might be your children or your relatives. There should be no cause for Fear. Take side with God Personality. Call Him by it. My Father, in this situation, you are nothing but my Deliverer. Answer to your name, Father, in Jesus' name.

NOW, SAY | God, My Father – My Deliverer.

LET’S PRAY | In the Name of Jesus, my bones are guided; not a single one of them is broken – AMEN!
