Also, Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka , Anthony Enahoro , Akinrogun Segun Osoba, Chief Ahmed Tinubu, Asiwaju of Lagos, Chief Raymond Dokpesi , executive chairman, Daar Communications Plc, among others made the final list. The 3 rd edition of MNA, a red carpet event is slated for the month of April 2009 at Planter One, an upscale entertainment event outfit along Maryland in Lagos .

The finalists cut across the foreign/local media, banking & telecom sector, oil & gas, politics, tourism, sports and entertainment. Some of the finalists are:
