what If someone wants Nigeria to be thrown into chaos?

remember it's very close to handover date. protests are already happening. civil servants are all ready to embark on strike in many states . Power has dropped by over 60%.

No fuel, no light. no money. people are bound to be frustrated.

Now If these protests gather moment and continue till handover date which is merely 4days away. there would be no handover.

and If there is no handover, an interim government would be sworn in because there can be no vacuum in governance.

we really need to be vigilante. these are real trying times for Nigeria.

It's just your opinion anyway. But I don't think fuel scarcity is enough to usher in an interim government. There must be a case of violence, riot, mass hysteria, military actions or the likes before such can happen. However, it is true that the current administration is playing politics with the people! The situation in the country now started gradually and, I daresay, the GEJ government turned a blind eye on it!

If it degenerates into mass protests and violence, well, the worse can happen in that case. Let us pray it doesn't get to that level. Because even if the new government is sworn in, there'll be bleak days ahead. The country is so maladministrated that it will take time for Buhari's government to pick the pace. I just hope Nigerians are patient enough.

we have been patient enough. If it degenerates into mass protests, there would be no swearing in. trust me If it continues like this till tomorrow, just know that anything can happen.

And any military take over by any soldier is just a waste of time. The beneficiary of such overthrow will only be holding the position for Buhari to assume the mantle of leadership.

If it can happen it Egypt, it can happen in Nigeria.

If that is their plan, their timing is all wrong. They should have let things slip much earlier. 4 days is not enough to create the conditions required for a coup.

Wrong. Egypt is behind Nigeria in its political evolution.

Egypt only elected their first civilian president in Morsi in 2011 while we had our first civilian president in 1983. There is a very wide difference between us.

So, Egypt is a new democracy still "experimenting" and learning the rudiments of democratic settings. We on the other hand have developed our system beyond what a bloody soldier will get up and pronounce a coup.

As small and underdeveloped as Burundi is, with their recent past civil war, a recent coup attempt was a complete failure despite that the president was not even in the country.
