I hate being a quidnunc, but this one left me disquieted. Nigeria is no longer the colony of the British empire! I believe we are independent and sovereign, and our leaders need to have some common sense and national pride. What the heck is Buhari doing in the UK, looking like he's groveling for advice and support from the PM? The pictures at 10 Downing Street make him look absurd, snubbed, and lost. This is not dignifying, especially few days before inauguration. And I'm hoping the race to rescue him by Tinubu and Amaechi is just a rumour.
