OLAADEGBU:

If that was the case see what was recorded of Solomon in his old age:

"And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart. For it came to pass, when Solomon was old that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods. And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded. Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and give it to thy servant". - 1 Kings 11:3-11
Yes. I believe when the prophecy came. And when the adversaries began to fight, he was brought to his senses.

From the Quran 6th Chapter.
6:82 Those who believe and mix not up their faith with iniquity — for them is security and they go aright.

6:83 And this was Our argument which We gave to Abraham against his people. We exalt in degrees whom We please. Surely thy Lord is Wise, Knowing.

6:84 And We gave him Isaac and Jacob. Each did We guide; and Noah did We guide before, and of his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. And thus do We reward those who do good (to others):

6:85 And Zacharias and John and Jesus and Elias; each one (of them) was of the righteous,

6:86 And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot; and each one (of them) We made to excel the people;

6:87 And some of their fathers and their descendants and their brethren. And We chose them and guided them to the right way.

6:88 This is Allah’s guidance wherewith He guides whom He pleases of His servants. And if they had associated others (with Him), all that they did would have been vain.

Pay attention to verses 87 and 88 above.

And truely, Solomon did possess some powers, AND they were all under the guidance of god. as written in-
Surah 21:81 -82
21:81 And to Solomon (We subdued) the wind blowing violent, pursuing its course by His command to the land which We had blessed, and We are ever Knower of all things.

21:82 And of the devils there were those who dived for him and did other work besides that; and We kept guard over them:

And there are other instances in the Quran where Solomon was vindicated. You go on to check for yourself.

Solomon as powerful compare to other kngdoms and countries of His time as united states is to other countries today.
Finally, jinn, devils, are all mankind. There are no scary beast as you may be thinking, and perhaps they were, but they were all made from the genetic materials of mankind and maybe of Men too.

Well all these were written above 5 centuries after the quotes I wrote. I will rather go with those. God gave Solomon wisdom but that did not deprive the latter of freedom of choice!
See what David himself told Solomon 1 Chronicles 28:9
9 And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father [have personal knowledge of Him, be acquainted with, and understand Him; appreciate, heed, and cherish Him] and serve Him with a blameless heart and a willing mind. For the Lord searches all hearts and minds and understands all the wanderings of the thoughts. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him as your first and vital necessity] you will find Him; but [a]if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever!

God also told him
17 As for you [Solomon], if you will walk before me as David your father walked, and do all I have commanded you, and observe My statutes and My ordinances,
18 Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.
19 But if you turn away and forsake My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you and go and serve other gods and worship them,
20 Then will I pluck [Israel] up by the roots out of My land which I have given [them]; and this house which I have hallowed for My Name will I cast out of My sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

Solomon failed and judgement came . The division of the kingdom is a milestone to this.

If the Torah wasn't corrupted, there won't be any need for the Gospel, If the Gospel wasn't corrupted, There won't be a need for the Quran. Quran narrowly escaped to Africa where it is kept save, however, it was still managed to be corrupted by the jews and arabs or arabs, to be sure, they established the corrupted version of Quran and fabricate lies against Muhammad. It is called the hadith. That is why God sent the last Prophet. His work again, they tried to corrupt but couldn't. We now know that man of sin called the devil(s) and satan.

There is no need for any of us to argue back and forth. Whether Solomon or Muhammad or Jesus were righteous Men of God is actually non of our concern.

"Would you say/claim that you are a believer and God won't test you?" Everyman or mankind must go through their test alone as those before us did alone.
It is simply an advice to anyone willing to listen to do their own thorough researches, findings and seek knowledge, so as not to be deceived by the ......... it can come in any form.

The Gospel was not corrupted! What is the Gospel? Let Jesus Himself answer
16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([d]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
17 For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
3 Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.
34 Jesus answered them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Whoever commits and practices sin is the slave of sin.
36 So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free.
Freedom from slavery to sins dictates.
The writings of the prophets spoke about the New Covenant. And here it is today. There was no jot or tittle mentioned in the NT of another covenant.. The Gospel is the content of the New Covenant

At old age too! Moses was old when the call came (80 years old) and he still lived 40 years afterwards hence it is not impossible!

Then can you kindly give us the scriptural reference that says when Solomon was in his grand old age?

I did not say the Bible said Solomon was in a grand old age, the point is his wives turned his heart when he became old and judgment came. All the events described in the book of Ecclesiastes are words of one who has seen it all; not a young man just starting out. The conclusion of the book in question states thus:
Ecclesiastes 12:12-14
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Solomon would not have got to this conclusion as a young man and still hold on to the very things whose vanity he discovered (and by which he was led astray)! His marriage to strange women, as a young man, was against God's commandments; this conclusion could only have come from one with the benefit of hindsight.

Shall we just agree that Solomon's heart departed from the Lord when he was old and it he also wrote Ecclesiastes when he was old probably when he came back to his senses but there was no record where he corrected the evils he did during his reign such as destroying the temples to idols that he erected. undecided

Solomon was never a wise king. He was only good intellectually. Which wise man would marry 1000 wives and also allow himself to be let astray by the same women. He was simply a wise f.ool

There were two phases of his wisdom, he was wise before he was led astray by women and he got wiser afterwards when he wrote the book of Ecclesiastes.
