CONGRATULATORY POEM TO THE INAUGURATED PRESIDENT
They say this day will not be born
A picture of a prophetic choas
Their white voices beat our hearts to war
They watch to see us eat our flesh so raw
Foolishly we almost fell into the set
Seeing from the eyes of looming doom is vex
Indeed many sword were drawn to fight soon
Alas! irony ,the anarchy became our disguised strategy
Still we stand


They say this day will be black
The sun shall be covered by crimson rivalry
Painted by the blood of political sack martyrs
Dividing us along many selfish ambitions
They envisage a primitive leader’s conclusion
One whose garment of incumbency shadows concession
But Conceding defines the new status quo
Setting an auspicious era by un-foreseen hero
Though it propelled many wagging tongues
Yet history will forget her promise to praise statesmanship
A virtue that cloud a true democrat



They say these days shall be bleak
Judging by our mistakes noised by their hate
We are not defined by that anymore
We are more proactive people in unity
Belonging to everyone ,but not belonged to anyone sanity
We traded our greatest asset to buy change
Becoming suddenly pregnant of it gains
Jubilantly hopeful as the soldiers stump their feet today
Democracy is engraved upon our soil to stay
As the ovation announces our new leader
our hopes stands as a judge before our decision
Becoming watch dogs keeping a tab on change
Ears are awaiting, many mouth are itching only time shall tell
now we can gadly chant SAI BUHARI! meaning change is loading...
