Scene one
INT. DAY. HOSPITAL RECEPTION.

Nurses Shade (26) and Nike (28) at their desks , Nike going through a patient file and Shade busy with her android phone.

Shade: come to think of it o, do you believe Dr. Oguntoye can do such a terrible thing?

Nike left her desk and looked around to make sure no one else is listening.

Nike: my dear, I heard the medical director will sack him this week, and the N.M.A will withdraw his practice license before the case goes to court.

Shade appeared visibly troubled by the News

Shade: God! I pity him o, I smell a rat in this issue, this is all an attempt to ruin that young man's career.

Nike hissed and returned to her desk.

Shade: its that mad woman again, your patient go and attend to her o.

Nike disappeared into the ward in annoyance, cursing the woman

Scene two.

EXT. DAY. HOSPITAL COMPLEX.

Nurse Nike and Dr. Toba (32) standing very close to each other, talking in low tones.

Dr. Toba : you said he appeared to be happy this morning?

Nike: I know what I saw o, he didn't look troubled at all.

Dr. Toba: his prayer this morning was different too, He woke everyone in the quarters up with excited shouts, shouting hallelujah and singing loud. people were asking him if He had won a million dollar lottery or something.

Dr. Toba : you cant do that! you will ruin everything.

Nike made a move in the direction of the hospital entrance, Dr dragged her back by the neck

Dr. Toba : are you mad?, I said you cannot do that!

Nike tried to free herself by biting Dr. Toba's arm, Dr. Toba responded with a slap across Nike's face, the ensuing shouts and screams caught the attention of the other staffs Dr. Oguntoye, Nurse Shade, the medical director( 55) and a ward maid (40) who all came rushing to the scene, Dr. Oguntoye succeeded in separating the fighting duo.

Shade: Nurse Nike, what is the meaning of this madness?

Medical director: did you both hear that? what is the meaning of this madness?, you plan to further drag down the name of this hospital after the rape scandal we are still battling with?
Both of you should report in my office immediately!.

The medical director exited the scene, while other staff members tried to find out the cause of the fight.

Scene Three.

INT. DAY. Dr. Oguntoye's office.

Shade exchanged handshakes with Dr. Oguntoye, after which the latter gestured to Shade to have a sit.

Shade: Congratulations Doc. I knew God will vindicate you, I was so sure you didn't rape that girl, but human beings are wicked o. I didn't know Nike and Toba could be that mean!.

Dr. Oguntoye: after I was bailed from the police, I asked God for a weapon to fight this battle, and he said be joyful, shout for victory.

Shade: that sounds somehow.

Dr. Oguntoye: yes it actually sounds insane, but the holy when the holy spirit reminded me of Joshua who subdued and conquered Jericho with shouts and trumpets, the children of Judah who sang praises to the Lord in the midst of battle and the Lord smote Jeroboam before them, of Paul and Silas
who sang praise in prison and the Lord set them free... I became strengthened.

Shade: so shouts of joy was the weapon God gave you... and I must say doc. it was very effective.

Dr. Oguntoye: as things are in the physical so they are in the spiritual, when you shout for joy in the midst of troubles, the Devil is confused the same way Nike and Toba were confused... He will ask, what is he happy about? and once you are able to confuse the devil, you have already won the battle.

An auxiliary Nurse (22) came in with a file.

Nurse: sir this is the file, and our lecture start at 10 am sir

Dr. Oguntoye: Ok, I will be with you shortly.

The Auxiliary Nurse exits.
