POLITICAL STRATEGY 101

I believe this should be a GS course in schools.You
can see how it can effectively turn the fate of a
political chess game around.
APC never saw this coming.They failed to
strategize.They failed to watch body languages now
they are stuck in a jam.
But wait,I think that there is a proverb that
says,"What goes around,comes around". How can Lai
Mohammed call Saraki and Dogara treacherous,when
not so long ago,they used Tambuwal to dance the
same tune.How can they call it disloyalty,when the
majority of its members broke loyalty with PDP,for
their own selfish interest?
I remenber another proverb.This one is from my father.
He said,"One who betrayed a friend for you,will one
day betray you." Saraki has emerged senate
president,and he played his card like a lecturer
teaching political strategy.He compromised and made
Ekweremadu his deputy.Any attempt to impeach
Saraki will lead to Ekweremadu becoming senate
president.That is what we call political chess.
Now coming to Tinubu,he has lost.He should know
that he cannot puppet people in Nigeria,the way he did
Lagos.Now his greed has cost the SW the
speakership,and gave the north complete control of the
house.This kind of makes me suspect Buhari's
involvement.Afterall,he was the one that called out the
51 senators.Now if he pockets the VP,then SW might
have just lost in their romance with the north.
I really feel sorry for Gbajabiamila.His expectations
were raised and dashed to pieces too soon.
The stage is set,things will still unfold.There will be
more cross carpeting and a very adventurous four years
for Nigeria,but one lesson was learnt today,"THE
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY CANNOT BE APC
ASSEMBLY."
