The bus took a major turn, causing all and sundry to sway in one direction. She returned from the sway only to observe a bearded old man, staring motionlessly at her. She tried to fathom a smile, but he turned away almost instantly, as though her smile preceded a deadly infectious disease. She made a face in response and noticed that two buttons were loosened on her shirt, revealing a conspicuous amount of cleavage. “Perv”, she cursed under her breath as she buttoned up. She wasn’t about to permit any Jupiter to taint her day. Earlier this week, she had a spat with her new neighbors about their Labrador Retriever. The insane animal had a queer penchant of howling the whole community awake by exactly 2am or thereabout. She obviously struck a rare nerve when she asked them to ‘shut the animal up’, which of course sparked an unnecessary war of words. The little war did not prevent the animal from causing her less sleep by the day.

Alice was a loner, with a proclivity for rare objects. She nursed a craving to own a museum in the future and thus she was in the process of assembling her own little army of ancient artifacts. When she was void of work, she was either surfing online for affordable artifacts or visiting museums and basking in the fantasy the fantasy therein. Earlier this week, a Tyrian Shekel Earlier this week, a Tyrian Shekel, had been placed for sale by the art collector in the city. He was said to have acquired it from an auction in Brussels.
