My younger sister of about 16yrs has been assigned by my mum to be cooking for a reverend father newly posted to our church. My sister doesn't seem quite confortable with the arrangement and I also don't think it is ideal considering my sister's 'tendencies' wink. She also has some features(if you know what I mean)smiley.
But my mum is insisting that she goes since the church management has already approved it!
What do you think people??

Allowing a young fresh female near a man (Rev or not) is not ideal! The church should hire a grown male cook for the reverend father jare!

If her nìpples are softer than yours, then the reverend does not have a prayer. Your sister has one thing in her favor though. Reverend fathers prefer boys so it might just be a safe arrangement.

Rev father or not, I think a disciplined man won't get any ideas living with a 16year old but i wouldn't count on the chances... Maybe you should go do the cooking instead since you are older and more mature.

The Revd father would be like, "Lord, lead me not into temptations, I can find the way myself"

I share your concerns too and will prefer not to hear stories that touch the heart as a result of your mum's decision.

Have you shared your fears with your mum? Is your father in support of your mum's decision? Your sister has come of age to make her decisions, she can politely reject her mother's plan of sending her to be a cook for a clergy man if she is not comfortable with it.

As staunch catholic, my parents are blind to the risk involve. My mum even tried covering my mouth with her palm so as not to say it loud. And if they continue to insist, my sis will not really have a choice

With the growing cases of children being abused by seemingly adults these days, its a pity that your parents arent proactive when it comes to protecting their girl child(ren).

Another alternative open to your sister is for someone to accompany her and stay with her throughout the duration she stays with the clergy man.

if its a rev fr there is nothing to worry about as long as the cook isn't a 10 yr old boy.

Mister, that gal is on a long tin if she takes up that assignment. Once she steps into that house the devil will begin to minister to the Reverend daily until in the end the Reverend's only excuse will be, "The Devil made me do it."

Avoidable tragedy

I tire o. I have always wondered why a lot of Naija people naturally assign some positions (Cook, Personal Assistants etc) to females.

Or simply getting a guy to do the job. That should be simple enough.
