Being a final year student comes with honour, pride, 'head swell' and nevertheless, equally with ups-and-downs coupled with rigorous tasks.
I don't know if this philosophy works in other higher institutions, but where I am from, as a final year engineering student (even other departments), you are literally entitled to all the 'good things' being in school can offer - the sexy freshers who would be honoured to date a final year student, the fact that your lecturers would treat you with utmost respect and also, the 'boss feeling' you'd have over your juniors ..
However, these and many more comes with demerits - this include: project fatigue which is already wearing me out, difficulty in combining courses offered, accessibility and increase in responsibilities, and without doubt, dependency by juniors (you must pay for your junior's or juniors' cab fare as the case maybe) even if you are broke.
Summarily, been a final year student is a nice (though not smooth) adventure ( the final lap race) ..all that's required is focus and determination and with prayer, everything would definitely fall in place..
Even the prospect of NYSC coming up as soon as one graduates is enough to boost one's hormones..
Frontpage bound or not, best wishes to all the final year nairalanders and to every student in the building..
Kindly narrate your experiences too if you are a finalist (sweet or bitter) so that the upcoming generations can learn a thing or two..

Its nt bin easy @all. Project wise, money wise et al. My dept decided 2group us for project, u can imagine hw slow d research wrk wil take. Na d money mata sef dy pain me. Pay 4dz, 4dt, register 4dz, 4dt. Its nt a small sumtn 2b an FYB. Even afta exams, we stil dy sch dy run frm 1 buildin 2anoda for clearance. My foodstuff don finish bt I neva fit go hws. My level adviser will say "fools re nt given Bsc"...its nt bin easy bt twas worth it
