What is GRE exam ? The GRE exam is a requirement for graduate study in the US Universities and Canada. Some other European universities require GRE score for consideration for ad mission.
The GRE exam is a four (4) hour exams which can be taken at any pro-metric testing center close to you. Currently,It cost $195.
The exam test your knowledge on Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal reasoning and Analytical writing( which consist of 2 sections: Argumentative and Issue based essays). The exam total score is graded 170/170 each (for both QR and VR) while Analytical writing is graded over 6 points.
Although, most schools have their minimum score requirements for admission consideration, but in most cases, these minimum score is not a guarantee that you'll be given admission. this is because, there a number of other factors that they consider even more import than GRE score in making decisions about who qualifies for admission and or scholarship. some of these factors include undergraduate and or graduate Grade Point Average, Previous research background, work experience, statement of purpose and recommendation letter(s).
Preparing for the GRE.
Usually, it is advisable not to spend too much time preparing / studying before writing the exam. Though, depending on individual's assimilation and comprehension speed. I advise a minimum of ten (10) weeks and maximum twelve (12) weeks would do. You just need to spend 3-4 hours a day to study the material critically, this way, you can be sure of having a decent score of 150/150(+ or -) and 3.0 (+ or -) in the exam, which gives you a chance to compete for admission and or scholarship if you have good representation in other factors as mentioned earlier.

You'll only make your application fee to the school yourself or if you insist we help you with your payment. You may choose to pay our handling charges at the time of the application or you may want to defer that too until you finally get your admission letter.
These we do to ensure that we're most at risk of loosing "all" and not you , if your application did not come through (wasn't successful). We loose, You win! (smile :-)). But, trust me, it's always been a win - win situation for our clients and us.
