Hello folks,
How business dey move? Shout out to the movers and shakers of this section and also to those giving their time to lecture and make us benefit from their well of experience, I can't mention you all, but God bless you all.

To the topic, what are selling now at the moment and how has been your experience, what will you advise people NOT to import or what will you advice that they import for now?

Let me start.
My first experience in importation nearly discourage me, I went to import FIX IT PRO CAR SCRATCH REMOVER, and I took one of it to test it myself, lo and behold, it didn't work, and I went ahead to read reviews on it on ebay and Amazon, oh boy, I don mess up. I learnt that before I order or import any goods, I must first do detailed research and do my analysis and read reviews about it, so that if I meet any stubborn customer, I can easily convince him or her.

Now to others, lets have what you importing now and your experience you want to share.

That moment when your oga put you in spotlight, you better not mess up!!! My oga, I hail oo
Let me be sincere enough that I am a newbie and this will be my second importation, but before I did this, I make sure I did the following:

1. I took a clue from Chuddy144 clues that you must take your time to survey your environment and find out what they need: I found out I am surrounded by tailors and mai-suya sellers which makes use of knives and scissors respectively, I find a way of balancing the equation and order for things that might help them, for example, a tailor wants to sharpen his scissors and because there was not light in his shop, he has to leave his son and come to our house and plug the smoother to sharp his scissors, and I was ok... It seems am getting an idea.

2. Read, read and read!!!. Ymodulus encourages us to read and be observant always, even though I know what I want to order, I made sure I read reviews about this item am importing, for example, I bookmarked pages like Amazon.com, amazon.in and amazon.ca, those guys no dey send, they say it as it were and after 3 days of reading, I saw that 90% gave it an A mark, I was impressed that at least I wont had issues like I did before, it may interest you to note that despite the goods is yet to arrive, I have had 5 orders already, I was like wow.

3. Lastly, learn to start small... I love a part of the Bible that says, 'Despise not the days of thy humble begining', I was not that affected of the first order cos I spent like 15k, (though am certain, I will sell it) don't over do your self by investing all your savings and if it flops, it may affect you badly...

I think I let others share theirs too, as I said, I am a learner.

NB. Chuddy144 post actually motivated me to start this importation business and also to my mentor, infinticoncept as well, my tutor on whatsapp.

Share more o... I am willing to learn.
