We are a Construction Company based in Lagos Nigeria, looking for Construction Safety Officers.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Integrate all policies, procedures, standards, checklists, forms into the relevant business processes.
• Integrate all Safety management functions with our daily business management operations.
• Investigate system problems, identify and recommend solutions.
• Participate in Safety Incident Investigations.
• Participate in Risk assessments based on external and internal influences.
• Roll out of all system procedures
• Act on findings from management review meetings as well as internal and external audits.
• Facilitate root cause investigations of non-conformances and necessary corrective and preventative actions.
• Motivate and oversee the implementation of Safety improvement initiatives.
• Strive towards continuously improving the way we do business by benchmarking the Safety systems to ensure best practice.
• Attend regular Safety meetings.

Key requirements include:

• Working knowledge of Integrated Standards
• Strong background in safety principles and practices.
• Minimum three year relevant experience in construction environment
