Job Summary
The IT Engineer will be responsible for providing effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business including software development, hardware, software and networking support, IT-related project management and providing support to the Head of IT.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Ensure a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers

Provide 1st and 2nd line hardware, software and networking support
General Maintenance of all other IT-related hardware and software
Software development
Information management
Provide assistance and support to colleagues in IT-related matters
Perform basic administrative support duties as required to meet specific operational objectives
Escalate IT issues to the Head of IT where necessary
Undertake small to middle sized projects assigned
Additional responsibilities requested by the Head of IT

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Information Technology (or related field) from a reputable institution. Professional certifications will be an added advantage
Minimum of 2 years cognate experience
Strong understanding of current technology
