…News in brief. …..
The whereabout of Mr. Rahman Abubakar is yet to be known. The police are still investigating and are urging anybody with useful information to step forward………

Ella and her ‘friends’ watched the news together with Tobi munching on his meal.
‘Nawa o’, Ella said, ‘how can the victim be accused of shooting someone. This one wey police dey find am’.
‘Still confusing though’, Oge chipped in and faced Tobi, ‘is there something you left out?’.
Tobi ignored him instead; he had other thoughts on his mind. Just then his phone rang and his worse fear was confirmed.
‘Ghost how far?’, he said and hushed his ‘new friends’.
‘Where you dey?’, Ghost asked.
‘Oga I dey hustle for wetin man go chop’, Tobi said pacing the sitting room with different thoughts running through his minds.
‘Small food dey house na’, Ghost queried; still suspicious.
‘I can’t always depend on your benevolence’, Tobi replied, ‘Where you dey?’.
‘House’, Ghost said.
‘I go block you’, Tobi said, ‘hunger dey wire me sef’. And he cut the call.
‘Wheww’, Tobi let out a sigh of relief.
‘Who was that?’, Oge asked.
‘Our worse nightmare’, Tobi replied looking lost.
‘Let’s contact the police’, Ella said with urgency.
‘I agree’, Oge said.
‘You don’t know anything’, Tobi said shaking his head, ‘do you know who’s working with him?’.
‘He goes to jail for fun’, he continued, ‘for him to still be a free man shows he has links even in the police’.
‘Oh’, they both said stupidly.
‘Give me your numbers’, he told them, ‘don’t try to call me, I will call you’.
‘Are you running away?’, Ella asked suspiciously. She got an angry stare from Tobi instead.
‘I need a change of clothes’, he replied instead, ‘and a good shower’.
I have to discard this blood soaked cloth, he thought reasonably.
Oge brought some clothes which Tobi felt was too flashy.
‘Mr Oge, do you have a three quarter by chance’, he said with a hint of sarcasm.

Ghost wondered where Rahman was. He smashed the bottle with him against the wall. He hated failing and the whole scenario felt like a failure.
Don for allow me kill am straight, he thought bitterly, when did I turn to investigator wey I dey ask for stupid source.
Tobi walked in just then looking different.
‘Where you see cloth?’, he asked.
‘Let’s just say the person won’t miss it too much’, he replied looking around to see smashed bottle.
Ghost laughed at his witty answer.
He can’t be behind my predicament, he thought with his mood lighting up a little.
‘Was there a riot here’, Tobi said; impressed with his acting skills.
‘Had some bad fortune yesterday’, Ghost replied standing to get another bottle of beer.
‘Woman or police?’, Tobi said pouring himself a drink too, ‘that’s the two misfortune I know’.
‘I’ll tell you all about it’ , Ghost said grinning.
‘Bros, I’m so hungry’, he lied.
‘Na raw food dey’, his friend replied, ‘make we go find something chop’.

‘Good morning don’, a man said into the phone, ‘my boys just notified me about the other one that got shot’.
‘Is he dead?’, Don replied.
‘No’, the man replied, ‘but he can’t remember a thing’.
‘Keep watch’, Don replied, ‘We’ll use him to draw Rahman out’.
‘Ok’, the man replied.
‘Keep an eye on him’, he ordered the officer in front of him.
‘Ok commissioner’, the officer saluted and took his leave.
The commissioner of police rested his back thinking of ways to draw Rahman out.
We’ll find you boy, he vowed.

‘Ogechukwu’, Mrs Chibuzor said, ‘Where are you? ‘.
‘Mum, I can explain’, Oge said, ‘something came up’.
‘You changed your mind’, his mum queried.
‘No’, he replied, ‘I was on my way to your place. I will explain when we see’.
‘Was there an accident?’, she asked worried. He was tempted to say yes but realised it would escalate the whole issue.
‘I’ll tell you all about it’, he replied. He let out a sigh after she dropped the call. He laid his back on the chair and watched Ella walk pass him.
She’s gotten more sexy, he thought admiring the view, what an eventful weekend this is turning out to be.
