This real life battery review has been sitting in my system for a while so here goes nothing

Battery
Having used the Tecno Boom J7 as my primary phone, it has been a very busy week. Loaded up my social media apps i.e Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin as well as messaging apps (BBM and Whatsapp). I'd say the battery held its own for the better part of the day but at night I needed to find a charger. To be fair, my twitter is a battery hog with over hundreds of tweets loading up per minute. I also tried switching to power saving at 50% to see the difference in terms of batterylife. Fast Charging is real, 0-80% in 1hour. Let me further explain the usefulness of fast charging. If like me, you don't understand why a 10,000 mah powerbank could charge your device for 4hours but still won't get it to 100%, you would be happy to know that the Tecno Boom J7 makes the best use of your powerbank by charging quickly and saving you some of that power for later. So quick charging is always welcome especially when implemented for several outputs. Thumbs up to Tecno for that.
I did notice it was a lot slower using the generator. By slower I mean about 45mins to charge from 0-50% while switced off. Battery reader shows accurately to the nearest % while switched off and plugged in. I love that feature.
Downloading and loading up several data intensive apps including youtube, for 4hours straight sent my battery to 25%

The Boom J7's Hi-Fi earphones are awesome.....if you're familiar with premium headphones then you pretty much know what to expect. If you're not, I don't know how I could possibly explain it. It's ideal for music and movies. The kinda sound it reproduces might make you love an otherwise average song. Lol

The Boom Player UI is smooth and lag free. Downloading and playing songs from the app are seamless. Songs automatically load with lyrics, although limited to only a couple thousand songs. Tecno keeps adding new songs/Albums daily to different genre. You could also share what you're playing on Twitter. Its a good way to go for you audiophiles.
