Chocolat Royal is back in business after NAFDAC (Nigerian Food and Drug Administration and Control) shut down the store in May for its expired goods (some over 11 years) and shoddy health practices. Cool FM is one of its sister companies and out of solidarity its OAPs – DJ Xclusive, Lolo 1, Freeze, Do2dtun all posted new campaign fliers or photos of them at the store.

They have also used the official Cool FM Instagram account to post videos and photos of the store, and commenters, as expected, have mixed reactions, mostly negative. The ones ‘calling out’ Chocolat Royal are getting sarcastic responses from who appears to be one of the members of the Moussalli family – Saada Elias Moussalli – @saada_et, who owns Nigeria Info FM, Wazobia FM, Cool FM, Chocolat Royal, etc.

Saada has written,

“You are all ignorant Nigeria is not made on news papers” and

“So expired food for 20 years and nobody get sick so this is fantastic we all should go for expired food haha”

How I wish Dora Akunyili was still alive and heading Nafdac, this would have been a totally different story.
The manner in which foreigners are misbehaving in Nigeria these days is seriously worrisome, first was the white guy BVN thread yesterday and now it's this lebanese lady from Chocolat Royale.

Wonder y d company is been reopened. Seriously d guy is a dolt, when guys get sick, how will they trace it back to d company, cos d effects of takin expired products most times do not manifest instantly. It kills slowly.

All these useles celebs that only think with their stomach, wonder what they r campaignin abt, wen the management of d company has not even issue a public statement itself.

Wonder what they wer doin with/preservin expired products. These nafdac guys ve compromised, how i wish Dora was still er.

Now that nafdac has fumbled, nigerians shud stop patronizin d place.

The day I learnt of their evil practice of using expired and contaminated dairy products was the day I "spat" them good bye

but seriously...expired products up to 11years and no one reported sick? No incidence recorded?....was the expired products used for just a week?

how come they have been cleared so soon?

I'm sure the bees have started trooping to the hive to take selfies for IG.
