Some Falsehoods Portrayed By Atheists by NumberOne3(m): 12:35pm On Jul 03, 2015
ABOUT THE FLOOD
Wikipedia: The flood myth motif is widespread among many cultures as seen in the Mesopotamian flood stories, the Hindu religious books from India called Puranas, Deucalion in Greek mythology, the Genesis flood narrative, and in the lore of the K'iche' and Maya peoples in Mesoamerica, the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa tribe of Native Americans in North America, the Muisca people, and CaƱari Confederation, in South America.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is an epic poem from ancient Mesopotamia. Dating from the Third Dynasty of Ur (circa 2100 BC), it is often regarded as the first great work of literature. Scholars believe that the Flood began approximately (1656 AM) 2349 BC.

Most Atheists claim that Noah's flood account is a copy of the Epic of Gilgamesh. The timeline of the Gilgamesh flood is consistent with Noah's flood. Well, as stated above, many other cultures have similar stories of the flood which is proof of the common ancestry of man (Noah). So why would all these seemingly unconnected cultures document (or copy) the same flood stories?
I can understand copying stories about significant event like creation of Earth or Man, Angels or Demons but why a Great Global Flood?

Here is why:
Considering the Tower of Babel (language confusion) happened after the flood, this is possible. [Abraham = Ibrahim (same person)]
Bible Ref:
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. - Genesis 11:9

This scattering at the Tower of Babel AFTER the flood only gives proof to why the story is in many cultures (languages).
Question: Almost 70% of the Earth is covered by water. Where did it come from?

ABOUT CREATION
Most Atheists believe in the Earth being formed from collision of rocks, water and gases.
So where did the giraffes and butterflies come from? The rocks, water or gases?
NOTE: Scientists do NOT ALL agree on this "theory of rocks" however, some Atheists claim it is a scientific fact.

Look at your phone and imagine the guy selling it to you told you that it was formed over billions of years.
The plastic, glass, battery, buttons, screensavers and camera all came together on their own over time.
Then imagine that someone else told you that some invisible guy made the phone. Invisible cos you can't see him doesn't mean he doesn't exist. I have never see air, but I need it to live.
Planet Earth is way more complex than a phone.

From a neutral stand point: The thought of an invisible creator is far more logical than collision of glass and plastic to form a phone.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: - Romans 1:20

ABOUT POVERTY & RELIGION
Most Atheists falsely portray the United States and most of the "Developed World" as a non-religious. This is FALSE.
Also blaming religion for the poverty and lack of development seen in Africa. This is also FALSE.
The largest economy in the World (USA) is still very religious. We also know about German technological might.

Wikipedia:
USA: According to a 2014 study by the Pew Research Center, 70.6% of the American population identified themselves as Christians.
GERMANY: Christianity is the largest religion in Germany with 62% of the total population
.

Religious beliefs have NOTHING to do with Poverty. There are poor Christians, and rich Atheist and vice versa.

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. - Matt 5:45

OTHER FALSEHOODS
- I don't see it so it doesn't exist.
- I don't believe a particular bible story so the whole bible is false.
- Quoting half scriptures to cause confusion.
- Speaking half truths, keeping double standards.
(and many more, you can add yours)

CONCLUSION
The bible says be careful for false prophets and doctrines. Most Christians think that this only applies to Pastors and Teachers within the church.
Apostle Paul clearly says it applies to those outside the church (who have departed from the faith). Check and you will see that a lot of Atheists did depart from the Church.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; - 1 Timothy 4:1-2

Despite these falsehoods and much more, I don't see Atheists as the enemy. I love Atheists and so does God. That is what Jesus commanded.
That is why God wants them to be saved. So as much as possible, pray for them and show them the way of the Lord.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16
