I just saw the news this morning too. What a mess, I think Jerry Jones has made a big mistake this time. TO didn't make as much catches this season, but he made a lot of money for the organisation. I'm disappointed with Jerry over this. I may just sell off my season tickets on EBay for nothing.

I think TO has outlived his usefulness to the Dallas franchise.The Cowboys haven't made a decent run in ages if you consider that they were the premier team in the NFL in the early nineties.
TO brings unnecessary drama to everywhere he has gone since he left the 49ers.And apparently he's done nothing on the field since that time.
No doubt,he's talented.As good as any wide reciever you'd ever see.
But i think the Cowboys can do without his drama.

He is still the 2nd best wide receiver of all time his stats say so and you can't really tell me the 49ers have been better since he left same goes for the Philly Eagles! i think the Cowboys problem go way beyond T.O it starts with their puppet master owner Jerry Jones and the puppet coach Wade Phillips down to their perennial choker of a QB Tony Romo not forgetting their over-rated defence which could not pull out stops when it mattered last season all you needed to do was watch the games against the Steelers,Ravens,Cardinals and Eagles and you would totally realize that T.O is being blamed unfairly.No team T.O has left has improved considerably and Dallas would not be an exception

He just didn't do it as much as he normally would.
No one is doubting his ability.
But the off-field antics put pressure on the Cowboy team.

Why hasn't he done anything to improve all the teams he's played for since San Fransisco(i.e. get to the Superbowl)?

True,TO isn't the source of all Dallas' problems.But he hasn't transformed any of his teams since SF either.From your article,TO draws attention to himself rather unnecessarily.That's why it's easy to blame him.And this Dallas scenario is no different.

There is no player on that Cowboy roster that did not under-perform it is always frustrating to see T.O always being made the scapegoat even when he is not at fault
The difference with Romo is he has flopped in every big game of his career and Romo is who he is today because of T.O his dating Jessica Simpson has nothing to do with it afterall Tom Brady is with one of the top supermodels in the word who probably earns 5 times Jessica Simpson's money and is still one of the best QB's in the game Tony Romo would still be a choker if he was dating an unknown country girl
