"Christ the power of God." (1Cor 1:24). As humans we see power as an effect we have on people and on things but to God, His power is Himself. All through the Old Testament we see God displaying His power but the truth is that God was not displaying something that He had but He was revealing Himself, He was revealing Christ (for Christ is the visible image of God Col 1:15).

Therefore the visible manifestation of God's power is Jesus Christ. When Pharaoh saw the mighty display of God's power, he wasn't seeing an ability of God but he was seeing God Himself. When the Israelites observed the Red sea dividing they were not looking at a demonstration of God's power but they were looking at Christ Jesus.

They say the Old Testament is filled with mighty display of God's power but the truth is that the Old Testament is filled with Christ. Yes, every page you turn to you would see Christ. Anywhere in the Old Testament where you see a manifestation of the power of God, it is a revelation of Christ. Also in the New Testament, the Apostles where occupied with revealing Christ. When Peter raised up that lame man by the Beautiful gate, he didn't just healed the man's leg but he showed the man Christ. The power which he displayed was Christ himself. Indeed the Apostles were busy revealing Christ not just with words but by manifesting God's power.

So if you are sick and God healed you, guess what happened - you've just seen Christ. If someone is sick, you lay your hand on the person and the person got healed (Mark 16:18). What happened is that you've just shown that person Christ. So when I say God's solution to every problem is Christ I mean that whenever anybody needs the intervention of God (i.e the display of His power) God shows that person Christ (i.e He manifest His power). And as Christians we are meant to reveal Christ to people i.e to display the power of God to people.
