I see that there is a thread for Christians to share their ideas about their faith. Others, I trust will be welcomed here to learn, right?

Why, then, does the Muslim site specifically state that only Muslims are welcome?

I noticed that too under 'Ramadan Kareem' post in which Seun said the site is "only for muslims and that any attack against islam will get you banned"; what actually is meant by 'attack' on islam? any critique or statement? yet in many other topics where christians were discussing faith-related issues, muslims came in and said all sort, we only engaged them in discussion. I hope Seun is not being intimidated, I can understand his thoughts though, so let's cooperate with him. Obedience to authorities is a christian virtue. However, I think it will not do well for so-called interfaith discussions if we start having christian only and muslim only sites. That's my opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to make a reply to my query!

I trust that my question has not been, and will not be, construed as something that will lead to an argument. Far from it. Certainly, nobody has to agree with points of view other than our own. However, my most fervent hope is that we should, nay, MUST learn to respect the sensibilities of others whose ideas are different from our own. That, as I see it, is the ONLY way that we will ever be able to get along with others.

The very small representation of people on this site is proof of that. We represent religious faiths of many descriptions. Some, indeed, hold no faith at all. But, we are here together and would do well to share our time in the most positive way possible.

Perhaps Seun will be willing to change the threads to accommodate those, like you and me, who wish to learn.

Pleeeease you guys should take things easy,we are all here to share ideas wether christian or muslim ok.May God bless you all.

Yes, my friend, that's exactly what Havila and I were talking about. We want to share ideas and learn from one another.

When I see a thread that says "Muslims only" I feel that I am being left out. I don't want to make others uncomfortable, but I do want to learn so that I may better understand and respect what others believe.

Hmmm, you guys are giving me more insight into the truth about my being banned by SEUN under very scrupulous reasons. So he is a muslim. Hmmm, no wonder he banned me. I guess he doesn't like some of my comments. Boy, am I pleased to hear that.

I'm sorry to hear that you and Seun have unresolved disagreements, KDK, but that's exactly the point of my query.

Given how much ill-will and misunderstanding are going on in the world, I would hope that here, if not in the so-called hallowed halls of gouvernmental power, differences could be openly discussed so that they can be better understood and, dare I suggest, possibly resolved.   Better understanding leads to greater respect. 

Since we all, regardless of our respective countries and or faiths or beliefs, must share this spinning rock in the cosmos, it is imperative that we, at least, attempt to get along.  And the first step in doing that is communicating with one another.

This site is wonderful, and I commend the administrator(s) for making it available to us for the exchange of ideas. Please, let us continue to use it in its entirety.

I am guilty of war when i feel/think that my faith, beliefs and way of reasoning should be the only faith, belief and way of reasoning.

Tolerance is the key word and in this case more of religious tolerance.

Lets not make war here and make the same mistakes our parents made.

The only thing we should learn from war is to fear all wars.
