for people who dont know,the poster is totally right and within his/her right to ask this pertinent questions,for the girls/ladies on here,if you have not had an experience of this,doesnt mean that its non existent in nigeria.

there have been several cases of fathers raping /sleeping with their daughters mostly for some form of ritual and some just for the fun of it,in the 70s or 80s,there was a prevalent slang in pidgin english that was said to reing then" na me born am,na me give am belle" in lagos.
personally i think it is a huge shame that purported next generation of young women are still prepared to either sweep something as grave as this under the carpet or dismiss it outrightly even though thousands of girls are suffering this abuse in nigeria presently
