This is bullshit! I'm a strong Buhari supporter but on this issue he's wrong! What are they subsidizing?
Re: No Genuine Reason To Remove Oil Subsidy Yet–buhari by mandax: 10:41pm On Jul 13, 2015
But during Jonathan administration, Buhari said he did not understand what oil subsidy was and why it should be maintained.

If he claimed not to understand what subsidy meant, having read the notes, a sensitive government which he Heads knows better those who will suffer and gain from removal of this subsidy.

Before those who only read headlines before commenting reach their deserved conclusion, consider him emphasis on transparency aNd accountability.

I thought there was nothing like petroleum subsidy in Nigeria, so why remove something that doesn't exist? Something must really be wrong with the mental state of mr Buhari
So you are so tied to the past that you can't even understand the fact that he is now convinced that it exists! Please use your brain son, I know its too watery but you can still try. Come on ma boy, you can do it embarassed

The same Buhari that said subsidy was a scam?

Gen Muhammadu Buhari before his inauguration

It is either he didn't understand the meaning of "subsidy" or he has forgotten what he said.

Buhari and APC have to credibility whatsoever!. The same subsidy they said never existed?.

My calculation is; he definitely want to loot his own part of the oil money with the cabals.

This reminds me of a program on channels tv called, face off or so anchored by naeto.

there was one fat man that went head to head with Engr Bala not too sure of his name. all through the show he was shouting like a typical APC apologist," There is nothing like subsidy" shouting at the top of his voice, any fool will easily agree with what he was saying in-spite of how foolish it sounded.....

Now look at what president buhari is saying.....

so disgusting to me.

Mumu!! Jonathan's lies still dey wind ur brain, Marketers want subsidy out to make more cash and you are busy talking nonsense.
I warned you to stop discussing subsidy because that subject isn't for fools.
The solution to subsidy is phasing out not removal, Buhari has once again proved to be capable of the task ahead.

Who told you that subsidy will deter refinery projects at low oil price? every maggot has an opinion on nairaland.
Re: No Genuine Reason To Remove Oil Subsidy Yet–buhari by paabakp: 12:54am On Jul 14, 2015
I have come to understand that we Nigerians don't think things clearly.
I have some questions, why is the removal of subsidy so important to these politicians, bcus that is all they have been shooting?
According to NNPC report we allocate 450,000 barrels of oil for local consumption, now where is the petrol from this allocation?
Do you know that removal of subsidy is another scam that is being advertised by the oil cabals? The reason is this, once you remove a non existing subsidy the oil cabals will just jack the price of petrol to any price they want and they force us to pay what they like. This is what Buhari is saying and also he said lets understand the crude oil swap deals, so that no body can just wake up and claim that he is owed subsidy payment. A lot of us just don't know that there is no real subsidy. If u read NNPC audit report u will see that the price of kerosene is meant to be 50 naira for all filling station but in reality we buy it for 150 with subsidy payment still included. The funny thing is that the audit report is on nairaland but we will not read it and we will carry our empty heads and be asking all the wrong questions, like requesting for subsidy removal, instead of requesting for the petrol from our crude oil swap to be sold to us directly, then any marketers interested in the business will have to adjust himself
