Certainly whenever there's conflict between couple both parties will attempt to attract sympathy from anyone who cares to listen. Freeze could have instigated this attack but still doesn't justify the assault on him by the wife.

Regardless of the circumstance that led to the assault isn't an issue to deliberate on. Had it resulted to murder no court will admit instigation as evidence for the crime. It's laudable and should be encouraged for victims of domestic abuse to speak up and not shield it from the media. Most men will feel ashame to speak up like he's doing and would have retaliated in the most brutal manner. A retaliation and creating awareness of his plight which is commendable?

There's no excuse for domestic violence just like it is for rape and other crimes. Hope you'll seek for clarity and hold similar stance whenever women are on the receiving end of domestic violence.
