When did women beating/abusing/killing/cheating on men become a "feminist" thing?

Is it safe to say men that does the same are chauvinistic and misogynistic manbishes?

The NL male veterans needs to assist their snotty newbies.

First of all, I already shared my views on the first page of the earlier thread. The one about freeze posting the pictures on twitter.

Freecocao is a very biased and sentimental person, and I always try not do argue with her on issues such like this. She always attacks arguments from the standpoint of defending her gender. Whether what she is fighting for is right or wrong.

The question at hand is did the wife inflict does injuries on him or not, and is what she did justifiable.
Whether women are weaker physically than men isn't the issue. Freeze was physically abused by his wife, and the injuries are a testament of that. Something like this cannot be justifiable under any circumstance.

Looking at the statement given by the wife, she didn't actually deny that she didn't physically abuse him, neither did she say that he hit her back, or he instigated it.

Let's leave some certain upheld concepts and look at this issue critically and logically. Was what the woman did right or wrong? I believe it was wrong.
If she was the one on the receiving end, I doubt if we will be even having this argument as to whether or not she was abused.
Let's always try to be honest. I despise sentimentality.

I have heard tales of men being beaten by their wives. This is another example. And freeze has come out to tell everyone that this is what happened, and I believe him.

I know freeze. I have listened to him on radio for years.
He is a proud and egocentric person, and for him to openly tell Nigeria that he was physically abused by the wife, then it must be the truth.
Lmao grin.

I think it has been established who the biased one is on here, this coming from someone who chooses to be feminist at her convenience? What won't I read on NL biko nu?

I know my stand, unfortunately the same can't be said for you, if feminism was to be what you lot take it to be, I won't be associated with the movement because, you obviously don't know sh1t about it or even life in general, nansenz.

So the fact that Freeze said his wife beat him with pictures is all we need to believe she did? Common sense can't tell you to actually verify if she can actually beat him or not? How many people just stand and let others batter them? Even the women that get beaten try to defend themselves, either by blocking the blows or actually fighting back, that is what reflex can do but I bet you small brain can't fathom that.

Everything has to be spelt out for you, talk about avoiding me in arguments, I don suffer for NL sha.

These same feminists attacked Chris Brown for assaulting Rihanna but kept mum when Beyonce's sister, Solange, assaulted Jay-Z last year.

Should I list more examples?

Anyone can visit this thread to read Francistony's PRO-FEMINISM STANCE: https://www.nairaland.com/2230794/adichie-argues-should-all-feminists

There are scores of such threads. Dude don't lie.

A certain moniker has been trolling on this thread. I have reasons to believe the person behind it is pro-feminism and is annoyed with the way we are stripping feminism on this thread.grin
I was expecting to read my feminism stance not pro-feminism. grin

I support feminism against societal injustice meted on female gender, being independence etc.
What next?

I don't know much about him but from his interview I read, I swear if he had been standing before me and if I could I would have walloped him badly right there. This is the more reason some women have chosen not to believe him.

To the _fools screaming feminists, you have no standing whatsoever to address them in this issue. If it had been a woman known for her uncouth mouth you would have simply written ‘serves her right' or ‘she must have hurt his ego with her mouth therefore you shouldn't blame the man from acting out of provocation'undecided.

However I won't sorry violence against a man because he is a man. If truly his ex-wife had abused him. I hope she loses the custody of the kids. A mentally unstable woman like that shouldn't be allowed to raise our kids.

The guy must have been a world class actor for cutting up himself to make you look bad to the public, is that what you saying woman? Anyways, if he did such then he's a big fooool. Also, if he had let you beat him up like that too without lifting a finger, he's not a man.

A man's respect for a woman shouldn't be mistaken for foolishness and hence, I support the beating up of a woman who raises her hands first to hit a man. Physical violence should be condemned to whatever length because no one has it's monopoly.

Violence begat violence.

Please, let's just leave feminism out of this and just apply reasoning and logic.

Like I earlier stated. Reading the reply the wife gave, I didn't see where she directly stated that she didn't inflict those injuries on him or that she never physically abused him.

Just as I told someone yesterday. There are some men who live by principles to never lay their hands on their wife.
My dad for example would never lay his hand on my mum no matter what. Through out my years growing up, he never did it. There were times he wanted to, times when he felt he should have, but he never did it. He told me that's what he decided before marriage and he kept to it.

By the way, we aren't talking about just any woman here. Looking at freeze's wife, she isn't someone you would look at and say she doesn't have strength. In lay man's tongue " The Woman Get Body," she has fat in many areas," so she would be capable of causing problem to resist her assault, even if freeze is trying to be evasive.

I have a very large extended family and I have had the chance of living with a lot of couples.
Some wifes tend to be temperamental, and they might flare up and act in certain ways due to hot temper, but after some time, they would cool down and apologize to their husbands. So their husbands are already conversant with this attitude, so whenever they flare up, the husband would just allow them to misbehave, knowing that they will still calm down.
It could be the same case scenario here.

Also you should also understand that although a man is averagely stronger than a woman, in some cases, some women are actually strong, and freeze doesn't even come across as someone who is that strong.

If freeze chose to retaliate in those instances, he would only succeed in making things worse, and who knows how the wife would react.
Some people are really hot tempered and if you retaliate their assaults, it would even make them do worse.

They have two lovely children together. Enzor and his other sister, I have forgotten her name.
Do you know the effect that seeing their parents fight would have on them? Freeze not retaliating was his best way of handling the issue. And I am also of the opinion that it was the right thing to do.

Actually, this issue has nothing or very little to do with feminism save for the fact that a renowned sympathiser of the cause is attempting to exonerate the aggressor and clam on the victim on premise of his gender or media personality.

It'd be interesting to hear your views on this issue though.
