Guy, lets say even if u subscribe to the EvDo package, . .tell me, . . are u going to share a constant speed of say 50kb/s on 10 PCs ?

So, if am rite a PC wil av to struggle 5kb/s to be able to browse even Yahoo Homepage,. .

Dude, I am sure @ the end u wil be the only one left with the 10PCs nd ur monthly evdo subscription, . .

because, @ dis Age Nigerians r begining to experience what we Call SPEED, . . not just browsing, . .

Do, u knw if u r able to get a Internet package to run your Cafe @ 30kb/s (or rather 20kb/s) on each of the 10PC . .nd u put up a Ticket per Hour price of #250 . .Pple will still browse!

**My #2**  wink

@ hayprof
i run an internet cafe too and i have to confess that there is no really superb isp out there, they all try , i changed 3 isp's in one year

the gospel truth is bandwidth is expensive and if one really wants to buy the appropriate bandwidth that will drive his cafe,he might not even make up to that in a month, i currently pay about 140k to my isp and the service is not too good even for 20 computers, can anyone recommend a good isp to me that has a reasonable price??

@ porter the NCC has stated some requirements recently for cafe operators. It states that you are to register and do some other ishes. They are the regulator and they aim to ensure service delivery to the public. Don't be found wanting by them for if they do check up on your cafe, Dial-up won't be too good. Find a better ISP. Make contacts and you would find a better one.

whats that supposed to be. if u want to open a cybercafe for business, do if its for free browsing lets know. for dopc, the fluctuate like nepa or sorry, phcn, like their other colleagues in the market, but that's not the issue, the issue is their poor customer service, so if u can live with that, all the best

Go ahead and try because you never know until you try. But to me chap, starcomm zap is not ideal for commercial business like cyber cafe. But if you encounter any problem I will be happy to hearing from you. Kudos. wink wink

hi my name is austine , i have a very good idea of what you should use instead ,it is swift telecoms , do not go for evdo of starrcomms pleease , it is not adviceable,by the way i have helped at least 7 cybercafes start up successfully using swift telecoms , i use it in my house and office and the package can carry 10 systems comfortably
