False and op is wrong too. Z30 is a solid phone with a good battery. You might be unlucky to have a defected piece doesn't mean it's the same for others.

The bbz30 is the best bb10 device I've used so far.. it's even my primary phone, in terms of my emails, and other private data, while the overhyped ifone 6plus is my secondary.. in my own case, the battery is superb. Are u using the original charger?

@op with this your post, 2 things are involved, it's either you don't know how to use your z30 or you bought a defected phone, cos am using one and so far it's da best.....prolly you shld make use of a users guide to know it's function fully well....lolz or are you one of those android fan boiz dat is just hating?

I don't know how someone in his right mind can relegate an iPhone 6 plus (5.5 inch screen, FHD, superior features and the latest iOS) to a secondary status, for a dated Z30 that is powered by an outdated chipset, processor and gpu, not half as efficient as the Apple's flagship, or as large, screen wise. Mind boggling to say the least!

Bb still remains my favorite others will always be secondary. its all about choice... take Samsung for instance, I even prefer the s4, to the s6....

Every sensible person hates the S6. I use S5 and even if I want to upgrade, the S6 will be the last route I'd undertake.

It should really be a straight forward decision for you, since you are currently using a Z10, then you already know what to expect from a Z30. The are the same operating System, same interface, the only difference is in design and hardware. In a nutshell, the Z30 is a more powerful version of the Z10.. Simple. Am not sure what sort of bad experience you are having with your phone since you didn't specify, but I can tell you blackberry phones are not the greatest for anything media, the are more for messaging and communication..

For downloads, movies, music, streaming android phones do a far better job than bb in my opinion..An S5 will be an obvious choice... my take.

Note: the Z30 is three years old, and that's ancient in mobile age, even worse for a BB.. Blackberry is a dying company ( sorry BB fans) infact CEO John Chen has said he will pull out of phone market if the are not turning over by September, and they are not, the much hyped blackberry priv has only sold 600,000 in Q1, in comparsion Samsung shifted 10million S7 in the March alone, do the maths...Facebook ain't supporting anymore, Whats app ends support sometime this year, is that the phone you want to waste your money on? Please go and buy yourself an S5, no more grammar from me

I wouldn't advice anyone to buy a BB10 device because there won't be much support any longer, given the fact that they have gone the Android route. Though I have a Z30, and I won't be disposing it any time soon.

The thing about Z30 most people don't know is its unique Antenna. That's why it performs pretty well in places where network is most shitty, compared to some of the latest and greatest devices. Using it as a tethered modem, I achieve twice the speed i get on S5. My point is, the only reason I still use the Z30 is because of its unique Paratek antenna technology. You should Google about Paratek antenna.

But if your choice is between Z30 and S5, then I'd advice you to go for the S5 because of Apps support and software support, by way of Custom roms and the rest.

By the way, if you have to get an S5, don't buy the G900H variant, because it only has 3G support, no 4GLTE support.
