Please I need academic advice for a friend who seems lost in a web presently.
She studied Mass communication in one of the country’s State polytechnics, currently works in a financial institution, and has eight years’ experience working in the banks on officer level.
Questions are in the following folds:-
For further studies, what field would be adequate to progress in the industry?
Which institutions offer courses on a part time basis for fully employed individuals?
Is it advisable to seek employment in the area of Mass communication where she has no work experience?

Nigeria Inst Of Journalism. Ogba Lagos

Do you think that's the next step considering she has never worked in the field of journalism except on a one year compulsory industrial attachment.
I always thought one should only advance in a certain field if one has work experience there.
My thinking is that Chartered institute of Bankers of Nigeria should be the next port of call.

Institute of management or MBA on biz dev/admin or NIPR
