Must We Fail In Order To Succeed? by neahyo(m): 9:45am On Jul 23, 2015
Good morning nairalanders, i just read this book 'tough times don't last but tough people do' and i've also read and heard many successful people talk on their road to success. So many of them talked on how they failed in some aspects of their life such as academics, projects, and so on. What really baffles me is this; must we fail in order to succeed?

Personally, i have not really failed in any thing i've done, so i tend to fear how i will handle major disappointments or failure.

Your advice will be highly appreciated!

You already have a problem by accumulating "Fear of the Unknown" and underestimating your God given abilities and innate potentials...Mistakes are part and spice of life...It makes your history rich...Don't be afraid to make one...and be quick to admit it when you do...make necessary amends and pick lessons therein to move on...Kill your fears and feed your faith...Trust in your abilities and God...Open the windows of your mind...Read more voraciously... Be Ready Always to Learn, Unlearn, and Relearn...Accept corrections readily with gratitude...Be guided by your head not your heart...thanks and God bless us all...

No you mustn't fail...Experiences are unique to individuals just as their personalities are...Some succeeded without much tales or hiccups while others passed through hell to make it...Your motivation should be this; If the man from Ebonyi state could succeed in Lagos/Sokoto, and transform his fortune with little or no education... then why not you with all your education?... Difference lies in our determination to excel, willingness to venture into unfamiliar grounds, and ability to ignore the thorns while picking the roses...Being afraid of failure is the FIRST BOLD towards failure...thanks
