This president was to go on and ring the bell at the New York stock exchange. And yes in his time Rice farms, biggest in Africa is in Nigeria is owned by AMerican businesses. His name? Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. This present visit already being praised for the SLEEPING QUARTERS offered the president as they predict sleep is essential for an old man. The big bedroom of BLAIR house offered. In the entourage are the uninspiring Oshiomole whose real talent we do not know, neither that of Amaechi. Son of the president is there too. Like Kalu Aja says, one would have expectedat least AMbode of Lagos to be there to discuss business opportunity in Africa's biggest economy in a municipality. But of course it is not a business meeting. IT IS A GIMME NA MEETING. It is a beggybeggy bambiallah meeting. It is "come and help me" meeting. They forget that no one "HELPS" without it being a business opportunity or one to shine. So Dangote and Otedola and other businessmen are not there to discuss true opportunities for business. NO. Arrester171:it's not a laughing matter at all. Your economy is in shambles and nobody either in the corridors of power or amongst their party faithful seems to care. I really want/need this administration to work even though I didn't support Buhari during the last elections and I don't support the APC but this is my country and this is where I feed and take care of my bills from. How do you want the Americans to take you serious when on your entourage, you brought your 32 year old son for fight seeing, a governor brought his wife over for an FG sponsored honeymoon and an ex governor was brought along to baby sit the president's son. This is what we call Almajiri Style Begging Diplomacy When news filtered that Bubu bared Business men from coming to the United States with him, the real picture and mission of the trip became very evident. The trip was never about business and the economy. It was all about what the Bubu administration can get from the United States. How about what the United States can get from Nigeria?
