Postgraduate is/are any study(ies) undertaken after completion of a first degree.
Postgraduate could be a post graduate diploma,
a masters degree, a doctorate degree etc which is academic based or any other study such as CIPM, NIM, ICAN, HSE etc which are vocational.
Masters degree is a type of post graduate degree which makes you more specialized in a more narrow specific field of study or profession. It is an academic type of post graduate study.

In summary, a postgraduate study can be classified as either vocation based or academic based postgraduate study.
