It's usually the brides church, maybe because you are taking her away. I don't know. Nowadays anyway, stereotypes don't work again. Some people even leave both churches and do it in another entirely or even the parents church. So, whatever rocks your boat. |

It's usually her church or her parent's church(mostly).....Its just like the traditional wedding where the groom comes to the parent's..In the church wedding, the "Parent" is the Church.the groom comes for the bride, and takes her to his own Church (after wedding ) not the other way round..Thanksgiving service can then be done in the groom's Church..but these days, anything goes depending on both families involved. |
