You are such an idiot; aren't you? Why should Ndigbo be ashamed of me when I am promoting and advertising them (and myself, by extension) in a country like Nigeria where people have shown envy towards them. You need to get your eediotic and pear-brain examined. People like you turn around in the night and kill their neighbours who do not speak the same language with them, and here you are in the day preaching for your father.
You are not promoting and advertising them by annoying others. You are such a loser including those that support you. Why not post the stories of igbos involved in crime overseas?.

Ireport,

Yo are either insane or crassly unlettered.
Why should I post stories of Igbos involved in crime abroad, whereas my mission is to promote my people positively?

Those whose mission is to post negative Igbos stories can do so; this is a free world. That is not my mission.

Now you can go hang or commit suicide if my mission runs against your idea of an Igboman.

Talking about complex, without sounding immodest, you can never achieve half of what I have, or be able to pass through the roads that I have passed, in your lifetime. Pity we do not disclose our Ids on cyber.

And what are those achievements I enquire, typical Nigerian mentally. Do you have to insult and abuse to express your opinion about issues? Rather than take pride in what these individuals have achieved as Nigerians either born or of descent we use the topic to tribally abuse each other which isn't very different from racial abuse. Please tell me of any political, business religious, cultural or academic Nigerian leader that has been entrusted with improving the lot of our people that has done so without firstly enriching themselves? Let me help you, Nassarawa state Governor spends 18M to feed lions{Hausa Man},RCCG buys 4Bill jet{Head of church Yoruba man} Andy Uba self styled power broker would not let peace reign in his home state while Obasanjo was in power.{Igbo man} Dipreye Alams{Ijaw man} Joshua Dariye{Middle belt man} i hope you follow my trend. We have been failed by our leaders not Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo leaders but Nigerian leaders and the sooner we stop all of this BS the better.

I agree with the comments in bold.

We must fight corrupt leaders no matter where they are from. If my village man is a kleptomaniac and I find a way to bring him down (not illegally), I won't hesitate.

iReport:

You are not promoting and advertising them by annoying others. You are such a loser including those that support you. Why not post the stories of igbos involved in crime overseas?.

@iReport,

You should stop this primary four way of reasoning; this is part of the problem with Nigeria, people do not know how to think constructively.

1. Don't you know that highlighting the negative elements within a group of people has the potential of making other members of that group look bad (thanks to false logic of "guilt by association"wink?
2. As a Nigerian, do you go about highlighting all the foolish Nigerians soiling our name abroad?
3. How does that help Nigeria?
4. Have you even tried to use that brain God gave you to reason that highlighting negative elements among Ndi-Igbo has potential negative effects on Nigeria's image, and hence affecting every Nigerian?
5. Do you think the American business man you go whisper "the guy who is committing advance-fee fraud is an Igbo man" will not consider you, a fellow Nigerian as that Igbo man, as just another potential scam artist?

Think before posting. The day may come when people will start paying fines for reasoning like toddlers.

Nevertheless, criminals MUST be exposed, not to apply guilt-by-association to then suggest that people belonging to the same group as the criminal are concurrently guilty, but to inform others of the facts so that the criminal is arrested and punished, if found guilty of the crime(s).

I don't know how many Nigerians realise that the Assistant Secretary for Health in the previous administration, Dr John Agwunobi, was supposedly a UNIJOS graduate.

I can't f**king believe this guy that posted something and turned it to a tribal issue again, I hate you all and I hope you don't return to Nigeria ever again. Rot and die overseas. Idiots. what da fuk?? You can't even post something without being tribalistic about it. Always Yoruba Igbo competition. What about other 250 tribes? What is wrong with you all??

Yeah, I read that a while back.

We need more Nigerians to make us proud, not crooks, embezzlers and 419 scam artists.

you sound really dumb.

What if all three candidates were igbos, would that imply no other tribes are smart in Nigeria ?

You cannot use the tribe of these people to judge who's smartest in Nigeria.

The thread starter, afaukwu, is just a tribal divisive figure like others have been stating.

This news should have been celebrated on the individuals' merit, but afaukwu has turned it into
a tribal issue. pitiful cry

Afaukwu and others are exactly like that.

if i have not been going through other igbo bashing threads on this site, I would have agreed with some posters here that it is wrong for Afaukwu to have turned this news into igbo news.

But I wont agree with them. they are all closet tribalist (according to asha80)

I did not see any of you coming out to condemn bilymuse when he said that nigeria cannot afford igbo president, and other countless igbo bashings on nairaland.

why is it bad only when it is stated by igbo person.

Afaukwu,
carry on. cool onwero ife na eme. tongue

That people might have avoided that thread should simply tell you it makes no meaning or sense. This thread from its headline was impressive, the content of the topic was impressive. It brought out achievements of Nigerian in diaspora. Only for the poster to make his first remark with a tribalistic swipe over what? - One tribe is better than the other in Nigeria.

A simple illustration to that tribalistic comment can be interpreted thus: I have a bigger farm than yours, your own farmland is very small, hence I am more productive than you. What if your big farmland is ridden with all manner of pests, what productive does it serve?

Rather than you fellow Igbo brethren to tell him off where he is wrong, you all rather keep encouraging him. I wonder how progress can ever meet with Nigeria. undecided
Re: Three Nigerians May Participate In Obama’s Govt by onyengbu1(m): 1:55am On Mar 19, 2009
why did you guys come and give you reasons why nigeia cannot afford igbo president instead of encouraging the mumu.

maybe its another bad turn. tongue
Re: Three Nigerians May Participate In Obama’s Govt by Ijawman(m): 7:57pm On Mar 19, 2009
No matter how a small percentage of Igbos try to engage in crime, the majority of them shine in legit endevours. This is one more example, plus all that I have read on this and other sites. God has blessed you guys. Just clean up as much as you can, but do not expect 100% crime-free Igbo society. Even in US and Europe there are criminals, how much less a developing society like Nigeria. There are Ijaw, Yoruba, Edo, Hausa-Fulani, Tiv, etc, bad guys as well.
