What Sort Of Legacy Can Be Worse Than This? by ezelous: 12:51pm On Aug 09, 2015 |
It is no more news that justice is raped in broad daylight especially when an accused rapist is rather granted bail than sentenced to jail. It is pathetic to know that those who are saddled to protect the law are the ones promoting injustice. Tell me why a rapist, who is very likely to commit same act be granted bail. What on earth are our judges turning into? Aren't they aware of the bill signed into law by GEJ to punish rapist? I think 10 years jail term. I hear and read countless reports on rape, yet each case ends up in bail outs. The recent one involving a UNILAG lecturer who raped a girl seeking admission may end up with the culprit granted bail instead of administering justice. Well, the consequences of this utter negligence by our judges would be obvious hatred shown to the malefolk by females whose dream of embracing purity till the wedding bells call has been shattered. This is a very bad legacy which must stop! MODs should do the needful by posting this on FP. Thank you. |
