Aerial Shot - Its an exterior type of shot that is used to establish a location mostly outdoor. It helps to give prominence to the location.

Close Up - This type of shot targets the face full in the frame. It shows basically from the face to the upper part of the chest. It is used to depict emotions like sadness, happiness, smiles.

Medium Shot - The shot targets from the head to the knee level. Medium shot is the most common framing in movies.

Long Shot - It can also be called a Wide Shot. A shot that shows an entire character or object from head to foot.
