Xiaomi took time to post Antutu scores of the Redmi Note 2 compared to those of rival phones. Xiaomi claim an Antutu score of 54,042 for the Redmi Note 2 in comparison to 47,032 on the Huawei P8 and 49,144 for the Meizu MX5.

Rumours about the display were true. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display which also features the same HDR sunlight technology as the Xiaomi Mi4i to improve viewing in direct sunlight.

Camera specifications are impressive for the budget phone too. The rear camera being a 13 mega-pixel CMOS sensor from Samsung and the front a 5 mega-pixel OV model. What is really shocking though is the inclusion of PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) on the Redmi Note 2! This could be the most affordable phone with the super fast auto focus feature!

Xiaomi have also included an IR remote control use at home with your TV, air conditioner etc.




Xiaomi will be offering 5 colour options of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 which include white, blue, yellow, pink and mint green. Additional covers will be available on sale at just .... NGN. The Redmi Note 2’s dimensions are 152 x 76 x 8.25mm and it weight 160g.

Why keep on insisting that it doesn't have memory card,even after being told it comes with one,yes Gsmarena stated it doesn't have one,but they're mistaken as hands on videos in YouTube clearly shows it has one,every other tech site says it has memory card,except Gsmarena of which they(Gsmarena) always will be the first to tell you their own info is not always correct..#ITHASMEMORYCARD

Depending on how deep ones pocket is, I would start by recommending
-a smartphone that can handle hard multitasking without skipping a beat,
-a smartphone with a chipset designed for efficient power optimization,
-a phone with top of the shelf graphics processing unit that can handle even the most intense programmes,
-a smartphone that has a pixel per inch density that is above 400, a smartphone that doesn't use onscreen softkey features,
-a smartphone that has at least random access memory that is above 2gb,
-a smartphone that is easily upgradable to the latest operation system,
-a smartphone that has a micro-sdcard slot,
-a smartphone that has a battery capacity that is above 2500mAh,
-a smartphone that has a micro usb port of 2.0/3.0 that supports fast charging


Most smartphones with the following features and characteristics are expensive high-enders, however, UMI, Huawei, and Lenovo, are brands you can count on to give you quality smartphones with high-end features at affordable prices.

I'm not a fan of window phones, never used one in my life, thus, don't know much about 'em.
