Hello Dog lovers!
It was our monthly dog exercise, so We had a successful dog walk on saturday. From haruna to ogolonto, then we assemble on d field at Government college ikorodu.

Its sad we lost the big caucasian after the walk because it was his first time to walk @ 2yrs old. He had lots of fat and couldnt walk. See 2nd pix attached.

Nice to see the idea of dog walking is catching on, this has to become an individual habit among dog owners in Nigeria. Well done on walk.

But i have to ask what happened to the caucasian as its not normal for a dog to die from walking was it exhaustion? over heating or what exactly?

If we know better we act better.

Me too would love to know what exactly killed the dog as its not normal for a dog to die by just walking.
And a tip when walking ur dog or organising dog walks,you should make provision for ice cubes and coolers,when you feel the dog has walked far enough,give him an ice cube,it will go a long way.

he died? bros; the owner shd have given water and noticed or taken a break....is this bro seye?

And I see more dogs than handler,it should be a dog to one handler,do not allow more than one dog to one handler.some dogs are naturally moody,can be v happy and accomodate all sorts one day and the following day can wake on the wrong side,I have such dogs,so I can't predicts all dogs relationship especially of same sex.

My brother, its quite unfortunate we lost that big Caucasian, that was the first time he was been walk. he is very fat and look more like a ram. very reluctant to move even with other dog in the pack. I really cant tell but he kept shouting when they got home after the walk, started breathing heavily and finally give up the ghost. quite painful.
