Good morning house,I wrote sometimes ago about my new rott that does not bark and scared but now it's now used to the new environment and takes full charge of security of the yard and very lovely ,thanks to you all for you .

My mom bought a 2 months old rot and currently he is 5 months and already bringing HELL.He is very stubborn and everywhere! Fights with other dogs a d everything. What he does now is to dig up pits for my mom to fall in .

With time,she'll change sir.let her spend more time nd don't let her opened to strangers.can u upload a pix of her?

She's new to the environment so u don't rush her socialise her more I mean walk her more show her much love and care she will do exactly what u want her to.

Hmmm might be a problem she's had from puppyhood and grown with it,
Her changing is 50/50.
Let's see a picture of her to start with,cos an average rotts has a domineering instinct in them and even when you take them visiting,the spirit still remains.

you said the dog is 2 years and doesnt bark? thats a big issue some dogs start barking from 3 months sef,
here are my questions
1. What was the condition when you bought her , playful or looking dull
2. Did you in any way hit the dog or anyone around u do?
3. Did you make the dog comfortable and do u currently make out time for the dog

Dogs needs lots of care and attention. Let it out first thing in the morning, let her come into your room if possible, give her the chance the walk around, if you cant alloow her to walk freely in the afternoon, walk her every evening

She was active when I bought her but when I took her to my place she is different now but was told she is will change with time by the former owner .I do take her for a work.

Firstly you need to bond with your dog, every dog will react somehow to change in environment and ownership. The dog is under stress and its your responsibility to make her feel comfy in her new environment . I will only feed her from my hand in this moment .

I Hope You Are Not Training Lions In Your House Because It As If You Love Dogs Alot.......

Difference strokes for diff folks! My rottie of 4 months is hyper active but very loyal to the family. Difficult to calm down when strangers comes inside even when accompanied. Plays with chicken during the day and kills them at night...chicken reduced from 21 to 4. Bites (and in some cases) shreds slippers, sandals, chairs and doors. Barks since 2 months...barks even when hungry and food is not forth coming. Ready to fight 4 me even within d family.

But above all, welcomes me as if I'm the PRESIDENT of the Africa.

The dog is just trying to study the new environment and also trying to know who is who. Feed her normally, stay and play with her and with time, she will know that you are the new boss. With time, she will get to know the normal faces around and also set up her territory. Also, you need to limit the number of people she mix with, I give her a month...

Hahahaahahaha, dis just crackd mi up, my favorite part is whr is said he now dig pits up for ur mum to fall in, I just can't stop laughn. If ur a christian my advic would be for u to tell ur mum to be prayerful and quote the scriptures regularly, lol!! For starters, provs 26v27 "whoso dat diggeth a pit shall fall by it" this should do the trick.

Lmao.My mom is very emotional. She only complains but if you hit her dog, she comes after you with brimes and stones. .Dog wey she named Mopol? This dog is so stubborn and funny. My mom prefers to use charcoal to cook outside the house, so ,so some times she carelessly may leave the pot of meat on the floor.Other dogs wouldn't dare, they can only sniff and wish from afar, but not 5 months old Mopol. Him go carry the full pot enter him cage .No soup for my dad that day o.

In a big house where it's mom dad and three dogs, na WAR! Wait till dey start fighting over Mopol who happens to be the only male. .NO BE SMALL FIGHT OOO . THE whole flower pots, garden and dried foodstuffs will be scattered everywhere.

The first night I was there to see her before buying she was so agile and barked at me but when I noticed the changes I got worried and told my vet doc he said I shouldn't worry about that and the previous owner said the same thing but I still want to know more that was why I Am asking the house to know more and am now satisfied @vikkiboi,drum,oluomoadedayo etc I really appreciate all your comment and am now confident that it will adapt to the new environment soon.

I hav sat down smiling tryin to imagine the whole scenerio wit mopol and his pack yet I feel my imagination is still a poor substitute for reality not to mention how impassioned u r abt the whole tin wit ur wondrful story, well I guess like mother like daughter isn't so far fetchd aftrall. How much pets hav crept into our lifes, ur parents r hav'n somuch fun.

Ths issues you are lol about might pose a problem when he s fully matured,its only ur mum & dad @ home so it should be curbed now with strict manhandling before he becomes a problem,male rotts need serious manhandling when growing up to remain in control.

You can invite the prevous owner over to get her settled in your environment,he should have brought her to your house in the 1st place.
