On Friday 20th August 2015, Huawei Technologies ICT equipment manufacturer giant recorded another landmark in the smartphone market in Nigeria with the official launch of Huawei P8 smartphone and Talkband 2 wearable device at Huawei HQ office in Lagos, Nigeria.

A well attended event that hosted key stakeholders from Mobile Technology business, Telecommunications, Banking and Entertainment. A black carpet event to depict premium and elegant nature of the Huawei P8, the new brand flagship of Huawei smartphones globally.

Welcome speech was made by Mr. House Yangfufu, Country manager, Huawei Consumer Business Group, Nigeria with key highlights on the brand’s achievement and performance of the brand global and being Global No.3 smartphone brand. Nigeria’s No.1 photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi, had an expedition with the Huawei P8 with focus on the camera and unique features of light painting demonstrated with a number of photograph reel.

The event however, reached a crescendo with the official unveiling of the Huawei P8 android smartphone by Country Manager, Mr. House Yangfufu, Senior Marketing Manager, Mr Olanipekun Okunowo, Mr. Kelechi Amadi Obi.and Owen Gee popular comedian. After the official unveiling guests were encouraged a hands-on experience of the smartphone by experimenting with its director mode video functions as well as its light painting functions.
