Success in life my mother wished for me Likewise were the dreams father nursed fore me But suddenly somewhere along the way Ugly thoughts pushed me out of the right lane To me a century away it seemed The success of my parents' dreams for me Peer influence intensified in me this thought And on the right path I felt I had stepped The advices of parents I defied Away into the woerld of crime i went Thinking on the short-cut to success I was The destination where I ne'er reached But here Iam today in this quicksand Still wishing strongly that time could rewind |
