Karma is a bitch you can hardly punch and get away with it. Though it might pay not you immediately but in the fullness of time you will get exact same measure of your actions if not more.

I worked in a firm where I was an assistant to a lady who was fortunate enough to be ahead of me in the department. We have the same qualifications, got employed the same time, infact we obtained our professional cert same time. But you know the nature of things in Nigeria where bottom power plays a major role in who gets what,when and how.
Well to cut the whole story short, our boss was transferred and she was single handedly picked by the MD to head our dept simply because one of her friends who happens to be our firm's account officer is in a sizzling romance with the MD. She would shout at me at a very slightest opportunity just to pull me down, anytime I bring any official document for her to sign, she would utilize the opportunity to make a mess of me and shine with me out rightly. I took it all in good faith because I had better plans.

(fast forward to present day)
Am presently working as a senior consultant in another firm after completing my M.sc and I was opportuned to write a professional exam in march 2014 which was the major reason I was employed in the first place.My office conducted interview for potential employees and then this lady (my former boss/dictator) was among those employed. The issue now is that she has to work in my department under my supervision. I never knew she was even part of those interviewed let alone employed sef. She was shocked when the HR brought her to my office for formal introduction. #Karmaisindeedabitch

Well..things are different here because of the structures in place. Moreso, I don't have plans to frustrate her but things must be done professionally unlike where she's coming from.
