The 2007 accord is bigger than the rest, but all of them are good cars to run your daily activities. One advise is to buy a car you can maintain.

....one more thing, no follow them dey call 'V4' o. its I4 instead.

Your Nissan Almera falls within the same category of compact car with the Toyota corolla & Honda Civic. The running cost of both cars will be almost the same either in MPG or cost of spare parts. They are both reliable and come with 4 & 5 speed automatic transmission respectively & the decision of which to purchase could come down to aesthetic appeal. They both have the 1.8l Vtec & VVT-I engine displacement. They are excellent for daily commute in cities.

However, acquiring the Honda Accord will translate to a decent upgrade to a family sedan offering a bigger engine (2.0l - 2.4l), better performance & drive experience. The accord cannot be compared with the Corolla or the Civic. Invariable, it will cost more to acquire and maintain in the long run both in terms of MPG and replacement parts.

Finally, the decision to buy any depends on your financial inflow albeit willingness to stick with manufacturers' recommendations for routine maintenance.

I really appreciate your analysis, however i hope the expensive rate of honda replacement parts doesn't break the bank?

I would have recommended same year Nissan Almera/primera/sunny/sentra/Tiida their engines are very solid but the body crumbles at the slightest touch and can't really stand the test of time.

Reliable information has it that the civic 2006 upwards doesn't have the leg pull syndrome associated with honda but the gear If not taken care of can easily give way. The toyota will serve and serve and serve, but it's F**king bland and can be boring to own.

The Accord is a top notch vehicle but I love the Nigerian variant than the us variant due to side mirror trafficator light. But it cost a lot to maintain compared to the others also there are professionals around who can fix it easily but it doesn't give trouble at all times.
