I said "closer". Smh
GEJ's about 1.83m tall.

What are you saying? Have you seen him stand with Obama? Obama stands at least 3 inches or more taller than him,and Obama is without argument 1.85m. GEJ is not more than 1.78m at most.

And what makes you think his height wasn't measured? What does it take for the boss of NIMC to take some of his staff and go and measure GEJ? How do you think NIMC would make a mistake with any of d details of the President of Nigeria (since he was president when he was enrolled)?

Also, are you saying GEJ wouldn't have known his height before the enrolment? I knew my height as at 5 years ago, and I'm not 30 yet. How would he not have known his height? And do you think this is the first time Nigerians will be enrolling for National ID card? Ask your parents and they will show you copies of their old and former National ID card.
Abeg stop arguing blindly.

Will this be used to make cash withdrawals at ATM locations

Yes. Acts as a wallet. You can fund it at any Access bank branch nationwide. Kinda cool

Thats a great idea. No time wasting to go to any office to register.

You must go to their office to register. Can a phone take your fingerprints? Duh!

you sure say you read the news at all or na the headline you read,

I just dey see this sha......

If you register online and fill in your data before going to their office, you will only need to visit their office to capture your bio-metrics. That reduces the time you will spend queuing to have your data and bio-metrics captured.

[quote author=justirich post=37659680]very good initiative. However the issue of fingerprints scanning and the real photograph of an individual poses some challenges too

ONE MUST GO TO NIMC ENROLMENT CENTRE FOR THE BIOMETRICS TO ENSURE STANDARD, CREDIBILITY AND DEPENDABILITY OF DATA AND OF THE CARD
