Firstly, what is Pornography? Pornography is anything in any medium- words,pictures, videos, drawings, people, anything- that represents illicit, immoral expression and is intended to arouse in a person illicit or immoral sexual feelings or responses. Pornography is more than Bleep movies. Pornography is on the movie channels, in magazines that are sold, internet e.t.c. Pornography also include nudity and immorality in movies such as Titanic, Original sin by angelinna jolie e.t.c. Pornography can also be found at the paperback novels with sensual covers. It includes the stories written to appeal to women's lustful fantasies, it includes all those things that entice people toward unbiblical sexual expression as a normal and suitable lifestyle.

As we all know, we are living in a world full of plague of lust and sensuality and all of us are affected by it. Even the bible spoke clearly about pornagraphy. it said, ' You know my commandment pretty well, too: 'Don't go to bed with another person's spouse'. matthew 5 vs 27-28 says more about it.
Due to researches conducted, behavioural scientists report that there are four stages in the world of pornography.


STAGE 1: TEMPTATION

Pornographic temptation presents itself in many forms. Lustful urges entice you to see the forbidden. They tend to deceive you that you need to satisfy the flesh, experience the excitement, and expolre the intimate. Most of the times you are made to believe you need to do it just once' and pretending that it's not really a bad thing to do.

STAGE 2: AN ENCOUNTER

james 1 vs 15 states; ' Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it's full-grown, gives birth to death.' The death in pornography comes with a relentless addiction. It impacts the mind, the body, and the spirit in sin and hormonal release, and the effect is powerful. Just one encounter can begin for some people and if care is not taken can lead to the next stage

STAGE 3: ADDICTION

Most people do not understand that according to research, pornography is addictive in the same way that hard drugs and gambling are. It was also scientifically proven that 'experiences at the time of sexual arosal, get locked in the brain thereby making it difficult to erase' phycology 101 thaught us that. Even Jesus said it himself in john 8 vs 34, "Everyone who sins is a slave to sin"

STAGE 4: ACTING OUT

You cannot sow into your minds ideas, pictures, videos, thoughts related to porn and not in some way act out in an unhealthy expression in your life. jesus said in luke 6 vs 45, "The evil man brings things out of the evil stored up in his heart". When the brain occupies excessive exposure to sexual immorality, it tends to give way to bad reactions and responses such as rape, nudity, masturbation, homosexualism and other unbiblical actions.

You know been a victim of pornography doesn't mean you can't be free from it. There are many ways of been leaving the bondage of porn.

1) Accept your saviour.
2) Do away from any form of idleness.
3) Decipline yourself
4) Talk to people that are more experienced than you
5) Visit your school counsellor
6) Pray always
