Hi guys ,i have been following this thread and i want to say here that mermaid really do exist !!!.
i have 3 personal experinces to tell ,i will say one here and the rest later

1.In 1998 ,in victoria island around november,a fisherman mistakenly caught a mermaid  under the bridge that links ikoyi with victoria island at ozumba mbadiwe street.

he spread the net at night only to come in the morning around 11.00 to check on what he has  caught, indeed he caught alot of fish and more interesting was that he caught a very big fish because he saw only the tail end of only the mermaid, the body was covered with smaller fishes and weeds from the lagoon.

on close examination he found that the "big fish" was indeed a MERMAID!!!
he raised an alarm that could be heard as far as ajah !  and before u could say what the hell! people started gathering ,there was pandemonium everywhere and it caused a heavy traffick that lasted for 5 hours!.

people were coming down from there vehicles to have a glimpse of this creature, meen i tell u if u see this thing u will have a mixture of fear and attraction!

fear that this thing is not human but yet appears to have both human and a glittering fish tail for legs and attraction that the creature remains a mystery that makes you want to discover more about it.

all the drawings of the mermaid having a long hair ,fish tail and feminine are all true!

back to my story, people made frantic efforts to get the NTA to view the creature, some suggest that it should be taking to the school of oceanography, but the fisherman begged them that it should be returned  back to the lagoon where it came from as he is afraid of a reprisal attack from the mermaids family, since he is a fisherman and fishing is what he and his family does for a living ,he and some other fishermen then used long canoe paddles to push the mermaid back into the lagoon and immediately it slipped into the water it regaind its strenght and went deep into the lagoon with speed. in a flash!

when this mermaid was brought out it was covering her face because of the sun and it was very weak to move because the sun was kind of draining her strenght,, ,,,,,
shocked
its something that happens maybe once in a lifetime and i was once a doubting thomas when it comes to the supernatural but seeing what i saw that november 1998,i ve stopped going to lagoons alone not to talk of bar beach,if i see any beautiful babe with long flowing hair ,i take to my heels!!!

If you are doubting if these things exist go to those fishermen at the lagoon between ikoyi and v.i and ask them ,they are in good postion to tell u

I believe! If only social media was popular then, it would have been all over the net. Maybe it would have made cnn headlines sef. Because believe it or not, it's a big deal.

Orikinla:
The Ogbanje in Igbo is the evidence of Mammy Water.

When the fallen angels were cast down from heaven with Lucifer, many of them were scattered in the air, rivers, seas, ponds, lakes, forest, valleys, mountains, etc. And they had sexual relationships with humans and gave birth to a corruption of both devils and humans such as mermaids and mermen.

My father communicated with them. And my mother saw a mermaid.
I have seen those possessed by Mammy Water spirits manifesting.
My father was one of them. And he took me along to midnight invocations at the seaside in Lagos.
My father always said we came from the water. But I rejected every lie of the devil.

A neighbour met a white blonde at the Bar Beach on the Victoria Island in Lagos as she was drawing strange figures and letters in the sand. He told her about me and she later came to visit me. We were very close and understood each other like twins. But I was suspicious of how she came to me, so I never even kissed her or slept with her until she left.

I have had other strange encounters.
Because, I was an Ogbanje before I went for deliverance.

Another strange evidence was the case of my elder sister who was only 12 when my mother sent her on an errand during the Nigerian civil war and she did not return until past midnight. My mother asked her how she crossed the river that everyone must cross by canoe or boat to get to our village, and she replied that when she got to the river at night and did not see any of the canoe men, she crossed the river. Our elders said it was impossible for anyone that cannot swim to cross the river and it was even more dreadful to swim across it in the night. They told my mother that she had been taken by the marine spirits and only returned to deliver the message my mother sent her to fetch. And she died some weeks later.

Mammy Water spirits have possessed many of our female children and some of them have confessed their relationships with marine spirits.

I know a friend that the beautiful and wealthy girlfriend confessed that she was from the marine kingdom. My friend fled from her.

Mammy Water spirits are common in the littoral states in Nigeria.

O Boy! You done see things ooo shocked

They the marine spirits are real, had one as a girlfriend, some people can be just too beautiful. Their major tool of destruction is sex, sleep with them u r done, your life goes upside down sooner or later you will realize it, unleas of course u choose to join them. Normally won't come out straight to harm you unless you challenge them, but will drain you till you are worse than a vegetable. Went for deliverance and my life is steadily getting back on track.. Its common in the riverine areas and their trademark is extreme levels of immorality and deceit. Just don't be a victim...

HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE FROM WATER OR NOT
OR HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE A MAIRMER OR NOT

There are many ways by which you can know if you are a mariner. We have hitherto discussed this topic earlier but can’t tell if it was posted online or not. Nevertheless, I wish to throw more light on the subject matter once again.

There are many ways you can get to know if you are a mariner or not even without consulting a spiritualist or anyone for that matter.

One of the ways is through dreams.

First, get to know that everyone dream dreams. Even when some claims that they do not dream dreams because of their spiritual bearing. Everyone dreams but some cannot recall or understand their dreams when they wake up because of their spiritual lethagy.

To such person(s), dreams does not exist.

However, dreams are true events which convey our spiritual connections as spirit beings.

Now, to know if you are a mariner without visiting a spiritualist. Recall your dreams to see if you often see yourself swimming in the dreams.
Have you dreamt of Making love(sex) to an unknown face or familiar face
Have you dreamt of being chased by a snake or dog
Have you dream of seeing River or any water pool
Have you woke up and noticed your self wet (sperm) when you wake up
Do you often or have you ever dreamt where you were in a boat with other unfamiliar faces?

Most often you saw yourself fly in a relatively high speed in water body.

But before you see such, it simply means you are in good tune with your mariners. Your path is clear. No hold on a minute!
Do you see your safe making love (sex) with a familiar or unfamiliar face
Do you dream of a snake pursuing you
Do you dream of a dog pursuing you
,Do you dream of seeing River or any River creature

Do you often dream playing with unfamiliar faces beside, above or beneath waters? This is another means of identification.

Thirdly, another way to identify a mariner is their feelings and reactions towards marine and water bodies.
Those of you who are mariners knowingly and unknowingly feel at ease with marine; you always have passion visiting, sitting beside waters. Always feel relatively comfortable in a pool of water. Even when the reasons are beyond your imagination and explanation.

Swimming is another way of identification:
Just like fishes have pleasure swimming so you do every time. And each time you do, you always feel renewed. Have great joy, special that can’t be priced.

5. Dada
Dread hair is one of the visible signs telling our marine involvement as a mariner. Those of you who were born Dread are mariners. You may ask your parents to tell you if you were one or a spiritualist

Haven said the list, it’s not as if all mariners enjoy swimming hence your marine environment doesn’t guaranty your ability to swim. That’s to say, some mariners fear to swim or even to come near waters. Coming to this, I will tell what led to it.

Pain:

Thanks for this. I will never forget my encounter with a very lovely girl some years ago. I was initially scared but everything seemed normal afterwards. They exist but do not harm easily. My case was that I was protected against my will. Doors opened for me but I just knew it wasnt rite. Until I went for deliverance @ MFM and discovered they only leveraged on my God given aura. I could freeze water by holding on a glass cup for some minutes then. It was just out of the ordinary. Its unfortunate she died exactly the day she predicted. On her 21st b/day. WoW! That encounter has shaped my behaviou ever since. I dont easily trust people. I keep very few friends. Im indeed still very very reserved
I'm interested in your experience. can we talk privately?

Being an "Eyen" Akwa Ibom, does not mean that I have to fall hook line and sinker to the mamy water story. I schooled at Obot Idim which is very close to some streams in the Afaha village. I used to go to the stream to fetch water, as a junior student, and never, I repeat, never did I witness any surreal experience at the stream, even at evening time.

Have you ever seen these mermaids before? Dont get me wrong, I believe in the existence of evil, but that mermaid story sef, get as e be. How true are these stories that if you see a mermaid combing her hair, she will get startled, and then dash to the river, leaving behind her hair accessories? And if you even leave with her stuff, she will haunt you in your dreams? How true is it that when they 'kidnap' you to their abode, at the bottom of the river (a miracle that you wont drown in the first place), that you will serve them for some years, before you are being released? Please educate me. I don see things for my eye, but that stories surrounding the existence of mermaids eluded me, till I moved abroad. If there are no verifiable proofs, then it should be shelved side by side with the great book of fables and myths of the Greek legend. That way, one can also point out the contribution of Akwa Ibom State in Nigerian mythology.

P/S: If they do exist, I don't even want to see them!!!
