Not really because the prophets spoke of the coming of Jesus before He arrived. God had all the authority before the seed.

I'm sure u know the church also needs maintenance, purchasing of diesel, repair of any faulty electrical appliances and u also don't expect that to come from the pastor's pocket alone.
Now, paying of rents, printing of bulletin etc all requires money, do u also expect that to come from ur pastor's pocket alone?
I used to live in such notion but i'm glad I don't think about it anymore.
Pray to blessed beyond ur expectation and such thoughts would be the last thing u would think of.

You forgot to add, the pastor has to drive in a convoy of cars and sometimes even with security agents... Live in a house way to big for one family... wear a gold cross that could feed several families for months! Yeah I get you, these fine things of life won't pay for themselves... Hallelujah.

Every Church I have entered into, don't pay the stage performers-the drummers don't get paid, nor do they pay the keyboarders, nor the piano players, not even the trumpet players, nor the cleaners, and 90% of them don't get paid. it seems someone gets paid and Its usually the pastors above and the pastors below, maybe a secretary or two get paid.
The bus drivers don't get paid, the car park attendants don't get paid, the Ushers don't get paid, the shop attendants who sell the Churches products don't get paid.
While thousand of $$$ are given each week in tithes and offerings, and no-one else seems to get paid-then its right for the pastors to hand the bills over to the secretary's so the billers get paid.

Only if the pastors obeyed God in the first place, this argument wouldn't keep on continua-ling, as we all know in this day and age most pastors all over the world, have twisted and turned bible scriptures around for their own personal selfish Gains.
While no-one in the Church receives any payment-from above, the pastors are enjoying the high life, living the highways.

This is not the word of God-the Lord never wanted us to worship after Mammon to be man pleases, He wants us to seek after Him and His riches in the word of God, to be God pleases.
Galatians 1:10 "You are man pleases" you are just as guilty as the pastors, enjoying the high life, sticking with the highways.
Allowing the pastors to teach other doctrine's, overthrowing the believers who are truly seeking-teaching the lie-rather then teaching the truth, twisting and turning bible scriptures, allowing millions to fall, living the highways, building worldly mega kingdoms, turning yourselves away from God Himself.

You have become believers in Christ-without understanding "None" had you taken any of your time to even want to learn any of the scriptures written about Him?
Its time "people" you need to "wake up" and start seeking for the truth, pick up the bible's and start reading it, study it, learn it, and ask the Lord to teach you it.

Without the bible no flesh knew.

At that time no, only the Father seems to know-like when the Lord's coming back-only the Father knows when-not the angels.
Which shows how the Father is connected to Jesus.
This is what happen to me I little while ago, in a dream I stood before the Lord-and as he started to speak to me, my enter-self started to receive scriptures.
I had tried to focus in my dream what the Lord was telling me, I then Heard the Father speak-between us was like a shield' a golden doorway, His light was beaming through the cracks-I still can remember looking at the shield and that picture alone has stayed with me ever since.

Out of all that ordeal-or I could remember after coming out of the dream was when Jesus said: BE GOOD.
And the scriptures he gave me to read.
This day and age I wonder to myself, why couldn't I remember anything what both the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ had said to me-I have seen other things before concerning the Lord, but this was my first experiences I have ever had meeting the two as one.

Maybe the mysteries of the dream, isn't ready to surface within-until the Holy Spirit reveals it when the time is set.

No-one is arguing, its just when I read the word of God-the picture stands out clearly-the Father knew before time began-old testament was God the Father, new testament is when we read all the authority was given over to His Son Jesus.

just went through this thread just now...cant believe Christians still hold on to a (covenant)contract that they ain't part of....if you are still part of the law,then why was Christ crucified...

21 Does this mean that the law works against God’s promises? Of course not. The law was never God’s way of giving new life to people. Of the street, or just out of prison Pastors, have learned new ways how to make plenty of money without being caught by the law.
Legalism in Church have allowed criminals to turn a Church into a business, that's earning monies they themselves couldn't of made in a life time on the street.
Pastors preaching to be paid.

People always come up with the same old story, they make up heaps of excuses just to cover up their hidden agenda's in Church.
We have all been into a Church somewhere, and we know Churches have volunteers, and we know it's the very few that receives a wage, Churches are charitable organisations, no-longer is it used as the house of prayer-but a house of rich Pastors abusing the system demanding money in tithes and offerings.
Collecting donations, and expects handouts from Government organisations, "signing themselves over to a contract that allows them to claim a non paying tax free system that comes with a life time Government membership, which supports Schools, books and transport, and every other materials that's needed between the barriers.
Had anybody taken the time to understand what speciality the Church has in-stored for us today? Today's special we are in the end times, and with a little support from the Governments decision, is to rob the tax payers money to support these handouts and every other assignment the Government had in stored for each nation..
So we see, Pastors are living of the tax payers hard working wage, that supports their families, and the Pastors have no regrets, taken food from a child's mouth.
What happened to the Church where did it go wrong-Pastors waiting to be paid, while the apostles that walked with Christ preached the gospel freely and worked hard in tent making, and worked in fields to survive..
I remember the day's, when I myself attended Church, I would ask questions about tithes, and where do they place the money, just to be told it is none of my business, I would ask, does the Church supply the poor, I was told, no the Governments take care of them, I was told, tithes and offerings build Churches, I was told, tithes pay pastors, I was told, God allowed Pastors to collect tithes and do what ever they desire to spend it on, I was told lies, I now know through my experiences the Church robs God, and the people that's in them..
It takes time, before you may realised, the Church had chosen not obey the commandments of God, tithing is Mammon, it's not God's nor does it belong to the Church.
Read the scriptures, and ask the Lord to help you understand them about tithes-tithing was nothing like what the Pastors are preaching today, it's your choice, you choose, God sends the Church strong delusions, because the Church chooses to believe in the lie, rather than the truth.
{2 Thessalonians 2:11}
"We have heard that certain people went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, "You must be circumcised, AND KEEP THE LAW; to whom we gave NO SUCH COMMANDMENT..." {Acts 15:1 and Acts 15:24-29 in part}.
Circumcision came with the law. You tithe do you circumcise?
{Galatians 2:21, 5:4, 3:10}If righteous came through the law-then Christ died in vain? For whosoever of you are justified by the law, you have fallen from grace. For as many as are under the works of the law are under the curse.
Tithing was our tutor, and when Christ came, we are no-longer under that tutor..Tithing was under the law of Moses.

Where do these big big pastors get money to own this luxurious luxurious things when it's not like they own chain of biznesses like Dangote ?

Honestly speaking, like some suggested tithes and offerings are just two of the numerous ways pastors get free money, when you attend a Church conference, convention or crusade , you are asked to SOWa particular amount of money to get either Abrahamic blessings or Isaac's blessings e.t.c. This doesn't stop there, if u re believing God for d fruit of the womb u pay a certain amount of money depending on the purse. Now apart from general SEED of millions etc. Have you not seen a church where all the salaries of the Church members for the the first month in the year belong to pastors(First fruits), apart from the hononaries from politicians and contributions from the business moguls in the society.
This is why so many people want to become a man of God
Now I can see why some pastors will go to any length including using local charms to draw plenty members to their churches. God is watching

It's so true, don't forget the handouts they get from Governments, and they receive a life time tax free membership, it all comes under the charity act.
